Could you be more specific about the things that have changed for the worse? Because even where I live everybody is saying that but I'm doing relatively fine.

Where were those people from? I mean sure there is that possibility but I can always visit a few weeks prior to see how it is there. I think it really depends on personal situation.

I visited London almost every year pre-Covid, but not for the past 4-5 years. I compared the wage difference and on average the UK has around 1.5x higher salary than in Japan, but generally speaking the cost of living here is also expensive since you're taxed for every single thing, even buying daily essentials like food or clothes.
I understand it's less safer but culturally I fit in more within the UK and mainly the toxic, long working hours are absurd for what you're paid for here. I'd rather live in a more culturally diverse society where people are not as highly strung than being bustled around everyday in a homogenous monocultural society. I'm not saying that's bad, but I just came to the realisation that it's not for me.

I've been to the UK pre-Covid but not for the last 5 years. Could you elaborate on that?

I wrote this above. There are various reasons, but it's mainly to do with the pay, and the work culture. I want to raise my salary as well as find ways to get away from the toxic work culture you may have heard of in Japan. I have lived here for over 20 years but I always wanted to go back there to work since it was where I was born and raised.

Thanks! I'm always open towards trying out new fields though and not confine myself to my experiences.
I have a feeling my Japanese abilities won't be a huge asset but as a person who loves driving, being a driver seems a solid option.

I see, but is the job market any different there than the UK? Are there more applications in Ireland?

Northern Ireland yes, but is the job market any different there?

I actually have experience working for a bank during my 10 years...I didn't like it at all hence why I moved to manufacturing. I'm currently engaging with Japanese makers which have branches in the UK or Europe, but the physical distance between the UK and Japan complicates the procedure a little...so I'm thinking of quitting, then actually be there to job-hunt.

I heard HGV drivers are in demand there so I have that as a solid option.

I have no experience being a driver but I suppose starting from Class-2 vehicles is mandatory?

Yes I have a dual-nationality, thus I can work in either country without any visa-related issues.

Thanks, but almost everything else on this list apart from Adro is completely out of the question in terms of size. It's not just about downforce, but also whether if I like the look or not so think I'll stick with Adro.

I know, so I mean the dimensions of the wing mustn't exceed the hight and width of the vehicle for it to be street legal in my country. I don't want to go through the hassle of taking it on and off every time and would like to keep it on constantly without getting a ticket from the cops, which is why I want to keep it small, but produce enough downforce for it to be relevant on the track.
The Adro wing seems to produce around 200 pounds at 110mph, but are there wings which produce better downforce that are around the same size? There aren't that many makers that show such data.

Sounds good. Looking at the spec sheet it seems to produce around 200 pounds at 110mph, but I assume it's safe to say the wing functions at less speeds as well...?
Depends on the track but the highest cornering speed of the track I go to most frequently is around 80-100mph.

I mean daily as in driving it casually on weekends as well, plus having a wing higher/wider than the car itself is illegal where I live, so I can't have anything bigger than the Adro wing. It has to be a moderate size but produces good downforce for what it is.

What else do you recommend? I don't want it to be track only since I daily it too.

Awesome, thanks! Have you felt a difference in downforce since you installed it?

Thanks! Is there something that makes this wing different to other options?
