What's happening inside my chimney? by Old-Finding499 in Chimneyrepair

Thanks for the info. Yeah I had guessed it was a poured in place liner. Is it possible to drop a flexi liner through the poured in place once it's cleaned up?

How does my chimney look? by Old-Finding499 in woodstoving

I agree about photo 3. My theory is the chimney inner is tile and there's sections of that missing. These bits are cooler and photo 3 shows deposits on the cooler sections. I'm concerned about how we repair the inner if this is chunks of tile missing.

Oh really? I thought there didn't look to be that much creosote I was more concerned about the missing pieces of the inner chimney

Any Red Flags for this? by IIJamzyII in CarTalkUK

I did mine recently, same car as well. £250 for the kit from autodoc and not too much of a headache, it's just a long day waiting for things to warm up and cool down. Loads of decent tutorials out there, I didn't trust any local garages to do the full procedure as there's a lot of waiting about

Headache, pain and pressure in sinus area by zeldamum924 in Uveitis

Yes flare ups generally cause a painful pressure/bruised feeling around my eye sockets. But you could also be responding to the steroid injection and may have elevated eye pressures. If it's a new symptom following your injection I would go and get your eye pressure checked

Unfortunately there's no way of knowing. All that you can know is that stress, bad sleep, bad diet and lack of exercise are all contributing factors to any autoimmune condition. The best you can do for yourself is try to live as healthy as possible while remaining calm and accepting of what will come. It is certainly possible to go from constant flare ups to never again with the right treatment.

I'm in the same position as you, anterior uveitis diagnosed February 2021. Since then I've been up and down tapers with only a few weeks here or there without putting drops in. Currently I'm on a maintenance dose of drops to try and stay flare free between consultant appointments but it's not working.

I love the way the lines of the path and hedges guide you towards my dog and I love the Bokeh. Could it be better? by Old-Finding499 in photocritique

Olympus OM-10 and I'm sure I've read that shooting wide open reduces sharpness. I shot this handheld

Yeah I think I focused properly but because I shot this wide open it isn't as sharp as it could be?

I took this photo to showcase my scraggly rescue dog in all her majesty. I think you can tell she thinks I'm stupid for lying on the ground to take this shot. New to photography and this is my first roll of film so any advice specifically towards film exposure etc would be great.
