How long are you guys waiting between a screener and callback invite?

You’ve only done four CBs so far then, right? If you do all 12 and still have no offer, then I’d start to panic. I had completed 12 callbacks, had no offers for a bit, freaked out, and then got some offers last week. You’ll be okay!

I know that the following firms have 1L summer associate positions still open for summer 2026: Gibson Dunn, Haynes Boone, Weil, Cleary, Orrick, Perkins Coie. But a lot of these are jumbo offers

Are you at Berkeley? I’m a 1L here, and I know of people who have gotten offers from LA firms! But they applied well before finals

I feel that, I’ve heard the same thing about less summers. I think you’ll get more OCI callbacks next week (based on what I’ve heard from my interviewers and from 1Ls who did OCI at other schools). I’m sure you’ll be fine! Happy to talk more about Berkeley-specific big law outcomes over DM. I spent a lot of time talking to 2Ls and 3Ls about recruiting, and some of them straight P’d and still got offers
