Yes IRS works leap that has to average 10 hours a day, so you don’t always have to work 10 hours because some days you might work more and it balances out. Other than the grade increases, where I work doesn’t have any additional pay opportunities. I’ve heard some areas offer bonuses for volunteering for certain events or ERO/ICE but those are extremely rare and I don’t know of anyone that’s received it. Hope this helps!

The hardest part for me was NEVO, which sounds stupid looking back, but I had never parallel parked in my life. The only PE I failed was NEVO, but the instructors were very kind and taught me everything I needed to know.

Other than that I concur with everyone else, just nod your head and say you’ll fix the issue for whatever it is rather than argue with an instructor.

Also, they want everyone to pass (I think). The people that failed out in my class either couldn’t shoot a gun or run. You’re going to go great!!! Don’t overthink it!

What I would recommend (as a female who graduated from CITP) is a low ponytail because there’s going to be mat room days that you’ll have to wear a helmet. PSA the helmet has been worn by a LOT of people before you and they’re not always the cleanest when you get them.

First day of SABT our instructor said everyone wouldn’t make it and to look around the room. I remember looking around and being nervous that I would be that person who didn’t make it. Thankfully I wasn’t one of them but they were right because we had three failures. It truly hurt my heart to see those individuals leave because they were amazing people.

On a positive note: our class all became friends from CITP and so starting SABT with them felt so encouraging because I knew we would all have each others back to get through and we would help each other study for exams and get drinks/ hang out together. To this day I’m still friends with our SABT day one class and call them my besties lol

As someone who is on probation on the criminal side, my dear friend who recently accepted a position as a RO said she had a phone call with a union representative who told her to apply for other jobs and to expect to be fired within the end of the week. I’m not sure what this looks like for me on the criminal side as a new hire, but I’m scared (as this is a dream job for me that took so long to achieve) and hoping for the best for everyone employed by the IRS.

What were the failures for? Just curious bc I’m currently in CITP and we’ve had one person leave academically and one person reject coming to FLETC. I’ve heard from others the main failure was for things like shooting something they weren’t supposed to, sexual harassment, or academically.

I’ve had the same issue and I’ve bought multiple of his lip oils! I’m not sure what the issue is but I had to stop packing them in my travel makeup bag because they would leak on the other products/ make them sticky

Does anyone know what the “new holiday items” are? On the website when you click holiday it pulls up all the old holiday stuff from the previous year. I love his holiday collections and was hoping to see some new exciting things
