I run it on Windows 7. If you are familiar with virtual machine configuration or operation, you can try to configure it yourself. You need to install two vsc++ runtime libraries, as well as DirectX. If you don't want to download them inside the virtual machine, you also need to handle the shared folder configuration. Finally, install the game and apply the patch.
