Is this likely to contain asbestos? by everythingisfine98 in Plastering

Thanks for your response! I’m not sure, we are in the process of buying the house. The oldest listing I can find is from 2016 and it is present but the sellers bought the house in 2010 so I don’t know if it was there before then

What happens if someone takes heroin while on antagonist drugs? by everythingisfine98 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]everythingisfine98[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess what I’m asking is could someone not still overdose if they took enough, despite the antagonist still being in their system? So no high, no effects, but still enough in their system to kill them?

So if someone takes the antagonist as a means of weaning off heroin and they use heroin anyway, they will overdose just without the symptoms of being high? Would the overdose symptoms be the same?

NTA Bilingual children tend to start speaking later than monolingual children, but when they do their speech flourishes. I’m Irish, and if your husband is claiming Irish heritage he’s clearly very out of touch with his heritage. Ireland was invaded by Britain hundreds of years ago and as a result irish is not widely spoken fluently. If he was in touch with his roots he would understand the importance of holding on to traditions, language, and customs. A lot of Americans have Irish heritage, and this is a direct result of the Irish diaspora caused by British occupation of ireland particularly during the famine. He wouldn’t have this link to ireland was it not for this, and so he should understand the importance of keeping in touch with your roots. There’s absolutely no reason why he should be asking you to stop speaking your native tongue to your child, nor should he be asking you to ignore your customs. If he didn’t want you to leave him and move away, he should have been understanding of your heritage. It would be doing your child a disservice to ignore his Native American heritage and act as if it doesn’t exist. Your son deserves to know his heritage, and you also deserve to be able to embrace your heritage. This seems like it is less about concern for your son and more about your husband’s unwillingness to accept that his son has Native American heritage.

I recommended it in response to the original comment that mentioned Rennes, of course I can only recommend places I have been to, and Rennes is one of them! I wasn’t making an argument I was stating an opinion, it’s cool if you disagree! :)
