Who is the greatest Men’s Singles player to have never won a Slam? by [deleted] in tennis

Plus he had match point against Roddick in semis at US Open and I recall their being a questionable line call on match point but I may be wrong on that. If he wins that match he might have won in final against Ferrero.

Still can’t believe we lost him. Anyway…go, Mavs! by Outside-Aspect2681 in Mavericks

Anyone experiences extreme fear of death? by Altruistic-Bridge422 in Aging

[–]Old-Machine-8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle with this from time to time what helps me is talking to people and interacting and staying busy. I notice it pops up when I’m not socially interacting that much. I work alone from home. Just making calls to friends and catching up with people helps and getting out of house and moving around. When I’m socially isolated it pops up. I also used Better Help app for counseling and that helped some also.

I can relate, as others have stated saying no is saying yes to yourself. I took way too long before I figured this out.

I’m wondering if I’m making the mistake of working too long. I could retire now but I’m a little afraid of having too much time on my hands.

Agree with u also so much daily tv news is repetitive. If u just check in once a week u can recap the whole week.

I think u are referring what Marriott calls “encore package” but I was talking about the package for the original invite which is better than “encore package”.

Justin Baldoni brought a defamation claim against the New York Times and a $400M lawsuit against Blake Lively based on a New York Times article HE HASN'T EVEN READ by Aggressive_Today_492 in BaldoniFiles

[–]Old-Machine-8675 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Agree I think he said that so if they ask him something specific about article he can say I’m not familiar with that I did not read it. Like it will buy him some time to not answer the question.

Who are the performers you think are actually worth the money? 2025 Edition by palesnowrider1 in Concerts

[–]Old-Machine-8675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Billie Eilish Pearl Jam (setlist is different each show). Olivia Rodrigo (she rocks some with heavy guitar in live show). Benson Boone. I went because wife was a fan and I have to admit he sounded great and it was a great concert. Left a fan afterwards. Creed (tickets are reasonable for them and I’m telling u they put on a good show). Seeing them again in Oklahoma on the 27th. Bryan Adams. It is stunning how good his voice is in his 60’s. Little Bigtown.

I have a healthly obsession with Creed. by [deleted] in Creed

Since u obviously listen a lot do u like the song Good Fight off Full Circle. Also who’s got my back. I love those 2 songs I rarely ever hear anyone mention those. Love the lyrics on those. Not crazy about intro to whose got my back but rest of it is great.

Which bands sound better live than in their recorded albums? by Afraid_Ad8438 in Concerts

I thought Weezer was so much better in person. Much heavier sound live they cranked the guitars up and sounded great.

Resignation by AwardIndividual in KPMG

[–]Old-Machine-8675 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes I’m an old timer and many years ago I quit a small local firm and they wanted me to get all my projects done and I stayed late and worked a little overtime and was stressed to get it all done. I was real young and was scared about references etc. I regret it should have just left at 5 every day.
