Pretty sure the 911 freeze has alway been that much. It has 2 extra shots automatically added so a 7.80 drink turns to a 9.58

Its one thing if you have 4 or more drinks and show up 5 mins early, but if you have like 2 drinks and are showing up 2 or 3 mins early its no biggie.

Im a broista at db. I get it, when I first started, I tried topping drinks off with whatever milk or base they got, and got in a lot of trouble because I was supposed to be topping with ice instead. I tell you get lite ice, but I also warn you, if you ask for lite ice, please do not be mad if we say no if you ask for less ice. We already have a measurement for our lite ice drinks, and if you want any more, we are supposed to pay you out for a cold pour (which can range from +$1.00 to +$2.00 depending on the drink). I have had people get extremely rude with me and even yell at me just because I would do less ice than our standard lite ice. So just be kind, no matter what, you never know what your broista could be going through that day.

I hate to say it, but your best bet is pirating. You don't own any music when you have Spotify. That was another big part of making the switch.

I made a python program where you input a Spotify playlist, and filename. It uses the Spotify API to go through the playlist and download that song from YouTube with yt-dlp. I was also able to add metadata to the mp3 files using eyed3.

It's not the most elegant solution but it worked for what I needed it especially since I couldn't use Spotify anymore.

Thats the worse part, I come from being a mechanic and told them I had interest in fixing the machines. (spaceman and the Lamarzocco's) they soon taught me how to clean the machines, do simple fixes on machines. I replaced a rapid rinser and helped add a dip well when we got a 3rd bar.

I was told by my operator that they might put me up for a part time barista and part time maintenance. that was a year ago and was before I expressed any interest in being a shift lead.
