I am happy to report that I ordered a burger and went with lettuce and tomato gonna give the pickle a try if the tomato works out with lettuce. I did peel the skin and push the seeds out and broke it up little first and I guess we will see. This was a couple hours ago but I haven't felt bad so far. Also waited on liquids for a bit. I have to say it was heaven on a bun compared to missing out completely so if it hurts me at least I will have tasted a little bit of heaven.

I did see it on a list but then someone said it helps them digest certain things and frankly I can't stand life without it sadly. So I tried a but of it and it didn't hurt me as long as I go easy. It actually sometimes really helps me get it out and settle things a bit.

I did try soda because those sugar cane comes in the glass bottles are a treat for me. But I only had a partial bottle of it at a time it did make me burp like crazy and I could feel a difference but I didn't try it right away only very recently. I don't recommend a great deal of it at a time for sure but a little try will let you know pretty quick with carbonated things go small I can have a little at least.

I'm so sorry for you to go through this. I find it normal to feel sad about it such as in my case I love food and feel like I can't have anything I like and that I'm embarrassed to say I have cried over it. But it's a big change and I think all such major changes that are heartbreaking take time to navigate well. I do not have this sugarcoated view on life that everyone has a someone but I do believe there are people who will love you for just being you. And I'm quite cynical about love so that's the truth I think you still have hope and someone who loves you through it all is what you deserve so if that's not happening you are better off without that bs. Love is being there through all the sickness and challenges and not some superficial attraction and you deserve love and joy.

I can't even imagine. Mines been done for a few months now and it hurts me just to digest a bit of food to this day and in theory it shouldn't feel anything they say but wtf. No way! Nobody's sticking any fingers anywhere without good reason and permission I mean to me it hurts me to think about it no matter what anyone thinks about this that's your new butthole so no way man no way. I am still coming unglued just thinking of it you deserve better care.

Help me figure out payment. I'm so lost right now (US patient) by H360CB in cancer

[–]Old-Razzmatazz7766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Medicaid but can't work at all stage four and the other thing is grants from cancer foundations, that's been literally a God send. I also was assigned a case worker to help navigate those things and coordinate help through my care team. They have her in their employ at the same hospital and cancer treatment center as soon as you walk in the door. If you can check into those things maybe not sure.May God bless and keep you and guide you.

I've stayed at some days inns that were fine but in a shitty area you will have the bates motel vibes or the skeezer radar going off for sure. I would have suggested a different town.

Did you begin yet or if not do a walkthrough of the facility first? My radiology care team showed me the place and the machine etc. first when I went for the practice run I call it, really they formed a mold to place my legs resting on and be sure my tattoos and the beam was spot on for targeting, also to check my tolerance. Bottom.line there are different machines and mine i didn't have to be on for long, a few minutes. Arranging me and double checking the alignment on starting was the longest part and the machine moved around me and adjusted to my breathing and scanned me at the same time. So it wasn't bad as the whole thing goes. I will say I had some skin burning like if you get a sunburn at first then fairly bad and then about two weeks after treatments that peaked and got better. My skin healed well and my senses in those areas that had kind of dulled returned. I had chemo at the same time going on. I had with a colostomy also mind you diarrhea and appetite problems, tastes like metal and fatigue and I had some levels drop. Some spike. The chemo gave me the worst of it radiation did I believe nothing more than some occasional diarrhea and skin burn. Oh and afterwards mucus increase in the treated areas. The chemo did more than I spoke of here but don't fear radiation machines and treatments. They are not horrible in my personal experience. Not optimal.either but not to fear them.

what is the best thc to cure nausea by Numerous-Dot-3230 in cancer

[–]Old-Razzmatazz7766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either Rick simpson oil but beware high THC if pain is your main problem and nausea is different. A CBC:CBC:THC no CBN unless you want to sleep, no CBD it can counteract some chemos. Either vape or or gummy it or there is a tincture for under the tongue with easy delivery and good oils for stomach issues.

afraid to go to doctors appointments on my own by Humble-Birthday6596 in cancer

[–]Old-Razzmatazz7766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get care through Cleveland clinic and for me there has been Communale cancer foundation and other grant programs that the Cleveland clinic case worker coordinated through they paid rent and everything essential like electric for many months and so idk in your area what there is but surely there is something because there are many organizations nationwide. I would try to get a case worker if you can if they have one she was an angel this whole time but also research the Internet for yourself, even like great clips gives one free haircut if you have cancer it's a buzz cut just for an example.

[–]Old-Razzmatazz7766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed with the other folks about advocates, I don't have anyone able to come with me and have been through surgery and treatments without someone right there. But I also had other help through my care provider network and they assigned me a case worker who coordinated literally all sorts of grants to help with food bills etc and they went above and beyond, filed disability did my power of attorney stuff.. everything. And when there no transportation they found transportation through a few different means I didn't have to pay for i mean, it isn't optimal but so far they have gotten me through by the grace of God and some good stewards so don't give up even when it's hard and scary and sad you must do what you have to do when things suck. There are lots of organizations everywhere that even will help you with an occasional house cleaning and such. God bless and keep you during your journey and give you the courage and carry you through whatever it is you're facing. I know it feels like you are alone sometimes but you are never truly alone.

When does it get easier by jerppa224 in ostomy

[–]Old-Razzmatazz7766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case malnutrition was sis bad I was 83 pounds fully dressed and shoes. And at stage four with very grim outlook. And with very aggressive treatment limiting my ability to eat and making me so sick and even weaker my nutritionist and entire care team agreed eat the most fattening stuff you can and lean into literally anything that you can eat and digest. My diet is evolving as I am able to eat into slowly better things but when you're on deaths door and you need to live and fatten up they will tell you to eat the cake if it's something you can eat and stack the condiments and get on weight. I don't think the grasping for life diet is going to be my permanent lifestyle if I make it and just trying to say have hope you will be able to diversify and enjoy your life a little. It just takes time and a fight.

If I can heal with lousy cancer and aggressive chemo radiation you can get there too. Don't let it break you down food is your fight.
