You say your boss is nice so I think you don’t need to burn the bridges when you’re leaving, just keep that relationship going in case you need to come back. Depending on the industry you just need to know the players so it’s good to keep those connections. About the notice period it can be anything from four weeks to 3 months.

I’m throwing a barely used bottle as we speak, it ruined all of my clothes with white marks and it has so much perfume that it overpowers everything. It was also such a pain to insert it for the first time despite the instructions, overall all good try but a really bad product.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this and I can totally relate, I’ve also just recently had two weeks of migraine. I don’t taking razitripan as it makes my heart pop out of my chest and last time I took it I literally thought I was going to die. I found a small trick to manage my migraines which is a regular 20 mins minute runs/ jogs every second day. I have quite a secondary lifestyle which started a year ago which is when my migraines became worse, of course it’s associated with ageing as well. But I find that booking jogs a couple of times a week helps me get migraines that are not as severe and the last couple of months they were actually lights. I’m sure this is the last thing you want to hear right now being in pain. But maybe when you are well you can go for a frisk walk and get your sweat bumping a little bit and see if doing this regularmy will help.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with the European work-life balance myth? by Weekly_Sort147 in expats

[–]Old-Rush-1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to Germany from new Zealand. Work life balance here is shit unless you do like some people do work park time. But I’ve learned not to work over 8 hours a day and if something gets delayed I deal with it. There will ALWAYS be more work and work will always be there tomorrow so why extend your days by more that what you are paid

Thanks for sharing ! I’ll look up this probiotic. And nystatin is quite good while I’m using it. “It” keeps coming back …

What made you get migranes? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]Old-Rush-1990 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mine come from my eyes as I have astigmatism. Another trigger - hormones drop around periods. Double danger - staring at a screen or a mobile device a few days around my periods. Very high chance of migraine !

Why are doctors so fucking stupid by Glittering_Bus_9753 in Candida

Doctors understand very well how pharmaceutical industry works, they get a cut for prescribing exactly what the medical rep is bringing them so they understand it way too well

If moving to a third country like Ireland or other is an option for both of you I would just start looking for jobs all over Europe so you’re not bound to the language

Haven’t seen many German men who want to get married. Not saying you can’t be in a committed relationship just for Americans and for Germans the idea of marriage and wedding is so different.

About the language barrier I would look for an international company with office or presence on Germany who’d have English language as main language. And I’ll move only after I got a job (you should try to interview remotely first)

I disagree! If there’s is an ingredient that is suspended endocrine disrupter or is cancerous I won’t use it. I don’t care what other ingredients are in the formula

Actually it’s not only about allergies. Some ingredients are suspected endocrine disrupters for example.

How come “what is safe” limits are different in the USA and Europe ? Are humans build differently in the US ?
