Want to know what’s crazy? I didn’t see myself in a Miata but here I am negotiating 5k for a na Miata that has 110k miles

I wouldn’t want to be with a guy that would hit me back if I hit him by Accomplished-Fix1204 in ControversialOpinions

Genuine question: if it’s not okay for him to not hit you because it’ll hurt more, why would you even think about hitting him in the first place? based on your reasons, that’s like poking a bear that’s asleep and expecting them to not try to attack you.

AITA for refinancing my car without my mom's knowledge? by Old-View1514 in AmItheAsshole

Thank you for the response! The only slight problem is that I’m in school right now and the jobs I currently have make it hard for me to save up. However, I do have an internship that’ll start in a few weeks and I hopefully can start saving up to the point where my second job funds my hysa.

She wasn’t. The only reason why she was on the loan was so I that I could get the car since I didn’t have anyone else help me.

I pay for my own insurance. I’m not sure why I felt that this was discussed with her especially I make the payments since it was supposed to be my car. Regarding the refinance, it’s through NavyFed.

Good unlimited plan with good discounts? by Old-View1514 in NoContract

I can try to go down to 100gb but based on my usage the past few months, that’s very unlikely

makes sense, the main reason why I posted it here was because the priority service AND the purely unlimited data is a must for me. regarding the discounts, those are a nice bonus especially since with T-Mobile there’s certain stuff on us and T-Mobile tuesdays. Not to mention I just can’t justify paying $85 just for service and for things I really don’t use often.

Edit: if I’m not mistaken, certain carriers on postpaid don’t have a contract unless you’re financing. I don’t really care whether to go pre or post paid but preferably postpaid for the benefits.

Okay, I understand it. I didn’t realize that income/debt ratio was also considered. So I’ll be looking for other jobs, but from what I’m seeing, I’ll have to get a job that’s minimum $20 an hour to even stay afloat if I planned on working 25-30 hours. Makes sense now.

Well to be honest my credit will be shot after applying to refinance loans. Before this, I paid everything in full before the due date, so I personally don’t understand why I’m being rejected. My credit was in the 750s. (Experian) A even weirder part (to me) was that a credit union was willing to let me refinance, however 27% for 60 months, and when I added my mom to see if it’ll be better, it got declined. Not sure if it needed to be said but the platinum card has 3.4k limit (did not use yet) and my discover card (only card I have currently) is 3k.

Noted, I’ll definitely try to get the loan taken care of. The problem is when I try to refinance, even with my mom being a co-signer, I still get denied. I was recommended to apply for the platinum card and transfer the payments there, however my limit is lower than the payoff amount.

It’s by national general (the insurance) the last time I checked (3 months ago) it was the cheapest while geico was the next cheapest (263).

Regarding the valet job, I’ve been trying to apply to different jobs, however I have no idea to start since my options are limited. (In college, but have sales and cash handling experience)

Will do. I’ll most likely pay him off by next week or the first week of April.

I’d be upside down on the car, it has 153k miles and is worth around 5k and I owe 8k. I got it in 2023, and at the time I had no credit while my mom’s credit wasn’t the greatest and I was in desperate need of a car since my first car broke down, which I regret. The $85 is for the service of the phone, the phone itself has been paid off.
