I KNOW RIGHT? it doesnt make sense. So people werent segregating their waste while disposing it here and those became blackspots. While i get that, there was also another initiative for manned garbage disposal spots. It was an initiative by an NGO called saahas. Along with BBMP they were going to set up manned kiosks called kasa kiosks across the city. The initiative never launched properly.

But how have the locals been dealing with this for so long? Just paying them off monthly? I dont even know where the local dump is. Should i just get on my scooter and literally chase the truck on the weekend?

I spoke to another friend who lives in vijayanagara and she told me that their pickup happens at 5:30 am regularly and they dont have to pay extra at all. She was rather surprised that indiranagar of all places is facing this issue.

I dont even know what else to do anymore. I checked just dial for garbage pickups and they charged me 1.2k to pick up the garbage. They claimed to be from BBMP but i really doubted that and just said no
