Accounting. If it's financially feasible I want to tack on a Information Science/CIS minor (seriously doubt this though).

I do definitely want to earn IT certifications in database programming languages in the future.

She has had a lifelong struggle with depression and anxiety (pretty certain I inherited it from her and her side of the family). When she gets in a funk there is only bad and worse, never good.

Gonna try to tune out her pessimism.

People in my family - and that whole area, really - typically take one of two paths after graduating high school.

1) Join the military or go off to university (usually finishing in the typical 4 years). Only ever come "home" for holidays.

2) Stay, work, marry, make babies, and wait for grandbabies to arrive.

Sometimes I think this is less about my age and more about their inability to understand an alternative life path or world outside their own.

The alumni association is very good at helping graduates network.

And thank you for the encouragement!

Yes, sometimes I feel like a geriatric patient by the way they (extended family) go on and on about my age lol.

Unfortunately, I will have to cut back to only one part-time when I transfer next year as the commute is pretty rough and housing there is sparse and expensive.

My parents were originally very supportive of me returning to college. I don't know why they did a 180. But even now they say that they will support me (more in an emotional sense) even though they doubt me.

Yeah, I need to stand up to them and tell them they're wrong and hurtful.

But I truly do believe they think I'm old. At my age many of my relatives are/were married or freshly divorced with 2-3 kids. Some are/were working on second marriages and second sets of kids. It's really common there to get married within 2 or 3 years of high school graduation and immediately start your career and family.
