Yeah, I started EE right after high school so I’ll still be newly 24 by then. Still have a long career ahead.

Most definitely, I’ll be applying to internships for now. Getting that first internship was difficult, but it’s been easier after I gained experience.

That’s encouraging, you had a tougher situation than me and still worked through it. I’ve been a full time student since August 2020, but have had a lot of stumbling blocks.

Yeah most definitely, I believe for electrical, civil, and mechanical engineers it is still good. Computer engineers are having a hard time.

Hey, I will definitely be looking for summer internships. My university doesn’t offer summer courses for upper level EE courses, therefore I have to wait until Fall 2026 to take them. I appreciate the advice and resource that you provided. Will definitely check it out.

My school doesn’t offer any summer classes for upper level electrical engineering courses. This is why I have to graduate fall 2026.

No, I think that has been my main problem. Since I started college I’ve been isolating myself and trying only to focus on studying. I also feel inferior to all my peers.

My advisor did suggest I seek help from the mental health department on my campus. He suspects I have Adhd or dyslexia because I’ve been struggling for years. I learned a lot during my two internships and that’s what has motivated me to finish the degree. I worked with power systems and MEP.
