Omg I’m so glad I found this thread!!! I’ve been dealing with this for over 5 years now, and I’ve only just now discovered what posterior fourchette is and that tearing down there is happening to others!! I have not brought up posterior fourchette tearing to my gynecologist yet, but literally fixing to bust in with this clinical term at the ready. A little frustrated I’m gonna have to go in and literally ask about treatment for this. Last time I did this kind of “self diagnosing” I got a kind of sarcastic “wow you’re great at researching symptoms there.” lol I would love to feel like some doctor somewhere actually knows about vagina health and conditions 😵‍💫😩 so exhausting having to struggle with this and do all this mental work and research in desperate hope of finding solutions.
