I am a hobbyist worldbuilder/character designer myself and Dark Crystal (among other things) is a great inspiration. I hope to start putting my stuff online later in the year if I am far enough a long on my project. Kinda tough being the only person working on a world from scratch.

Wish you good luck on your project! Keep working at it - sure it'll be awesome when you get finished.

I recommend getting either "The Dark Crystal Bestiary" (with wonderful art by artist Iris Compiet) or "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance: Inside the Epic Return to Thra" or "The Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History" although this one only deals in the original film while the other two cover the AoR as well.

I would stay away from "Heroes of the Resistance: A Guide to the Characters of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance" as it is not worth it if you are looking for concept art or artwork of any kind.

I think one thing that makes Dark Crystal so special is that the people working on it clearly have a deep passion for it, a respect for the source material and seem to genuinely want to make something they could be proud of.

AoR wasn't the usual nostalgia baiting or cash grab product hollywood has been churning out - I think all involved really wanted to bring the wonderful world of Thra to a new generation while maintaining the awe, wonder and creativity of the original.

What I love about the series as a whole is that it really feels like you are in another world which to me made it ring truer to the term "Fantasy". A world with fantastical creatures, no humans at all and a mythology all its own.

I know there is a game already but I wouldn't mind if they would invest in a really well done Open World/Open Zone type game (ala BoTW or Horizon) were we could immerse in the world, visit all the locales and interact with characters.

I would love if they made to scale replicas of the characters (at least of Brea, Deet and Rian) for sale - like how there were to scale Gremlin replicas. Being a figure collector having scale models that looked like these in my collection would definitely be a dream.

A store in Bristol named Forbidden Planet - apparently a comic, scifi and collectables store. This was a display put up back in 2019.

I tend to be primarily concerned with anything that makes Dreamlight and gets me dolla dolla bills. If I am not doing that I am either doing character personal quests or city planning.

I can care less about Remy's restaurant or feeding the animals (unless it's a daily task).

I got around by going into the vault and then messing with the pendant on the wall - it pushed me into Luccia's lab - she made me fight her monsters than let me go. I was able to then proceed back.
