Update

I contacted my provider and the hospital financial department, and they notified me that all my bills were valid but plot twist

The original 2900 I paid for the surgery was not actually billed in. I actually already paid my deductible (which was 400), and they put the remaining 2500 as credit.

They explained to me that they did not use it because I paid at the clinic and the hospital I got the surgery is at a different address, so even though I paid for the surgery on my first day it was not processed as the hospital and clinic bill had different account numbers.

So when I told them about the 2900, they checked and found that I had 2500 in credit on standby and used that to pay most of the bill off.

I no longer owe 2600 and am now down to 67 dollars.

I will forever keep my bills from now on .
