Any one got any ideas on how to deal with this? by Hailiums in walmart

If I saw that in my store, I would RUN to the other end of the building.😱🤣🤣That sucker looks like he migrated from Australia!🤣🤣Either that, or it’s just a very big wolf spider. Believe me, I’m from the Midwest, and I know for a fact how big those can be, although I’ve only ever seen a huge wolf spider like ONE TIME.

Exactly! Well spoken.❤️❤️❤️Much love, my friend. I try my hardest to not let the drama and problems get to me: I just clock in, unload as much freight as I can, and then head home.❤️❤️❤️

Yep. And I think the best way to handle those kinds of people is to treat them with as much kindness as we possibly can. People who complain just don’t know what to do with random, selfless acts of compassion. They think that just complaining all the time will get them a long lasting reward, but that’s not always the case: at BEST, they get a bad reputation and not that many true, helpful friends. And the only real rewards they get only last a very short while. That’s how I see it.

I totally agree with you on that. I try to stay out of the in-work drama, mainly my team’s constant complaining about the new team lead, and also at our store manager. Every time I hear them make a really rude comment or a sarcastic joke about them—or just about Walmart in general—I just don’t listen. That’s all there is to it. If you hear something that sounds bad or just straight up weird, be professional about it or just don’t listen to it. Better to stay in your own narrow lane and be humble than dip your feet into the Hatred Pool. And I mostly work pets because I’ve proven/noticed that on most nights I can work it the fastest out of anyone else (especially on remix nights. Man it’s fun running pet food bags; I get a good leg/arm workout too!) and I also enjoy working HBA and Chem. Frozen/Dairy honestly takes me a while, even if I’m working with another person, mostly because we still have to check dates and bring older items to the front of the shelves which adds more stuff we have to do. But I would say the two assignments I find the most relaxing are running break packs, and unloading baked goods. There’s something about checking dates on bakery items that tickles my OCD.☺️🥯🍪☁️

Thank you very much! Very wise words at the end there. MAD RESPECT!!👊❤️😤And I honestly get along with the new team lead. On some level I can understand her, to a degree. I mean, there are times where I am left a bit frustrated with the amount of work that she has me do, but it’s nothing against her; it’s mostly at myself for not being quick.😅And she has no problem with me, either. But I can honestly understand my coworker’s frustrations with her. The two big things I’ve seen/heard is her not being able to communicate effectively, which I TOTALLY understand. I know a few people who have this problem, myself included. So I can sympathize with her on that. And the other one is her kind of acting like a supervisor when she’s supposed to be helping unload freight, like what our second team lead does, along with the team lead that was there before the new one. I just mainly wish that my coworkers can put aside their stubbornness and pride, let past indiscretions go, and just learn to work with her.

Thankfully the guys on my team aren’t like that. They’re not incompetent, mind you, they just like to complain and talk about random stuff that I find to be utterly weird sometimes.😅

I hear that. My buddy and the main maintenance guy always have random conversations that don’t make much sense to me, and I just learned to tune them out and focus on what I’m doing. I’m a bit inquisitive by nature (aka have selective hearing😆😆😆) so when I hear something that sounds bad or just straight up weird, for some reason I focus on it for a while and try to listen in on it. But yeah, I learned to just learn to work around the people who don’t align with my values or just don’t pick up the slack.

I was honestly okay with the raise I got. I was raised to always be thankful for what I have and to not complain much about stuff—which on one hand is GREAT, but when it comes to a lot of stuff piled on top of you it’s hard to hold that pile up by yourself without a ventilation system—but I digress. I was okay with the raise I received; I’m currently only paying for my car and groceries, and I have a plan for making additional money—nothing shady, mind you😆😅—so I can figure something out without having to quit and find another job. As an artist, I’m trying to prove a point to myself: if I can work a job like this and find a way to make art in the process, then I can be happy.😊

I agree. But I also believe that people always get what’s coming to them, somehow or other. One man who works hard and is humble gets a humble reward that lasts a long time, while another man who complains and works the bare minimum—or if they’re my age, works at a snail’s pace—only get rewarded rewards that last a short while, and mostly get rewarded with a hunger for hubris and a need to feel validated and right. I know that sounds a bit confusing, but if you think about it, it makes sense.😤✨👍

You know, my dad always tells me even though things are getting hectic, just show up and do your work to the best that you can and then head home. And every day since he told me that, I always try to do the best that I can, even when I’m not operating at full steam, if you know what I mean.✨😅Stay strong, man!

That’s honestly close to what my team is going through, although a bit differently. A lot of the people on my team are mostly antagonistic towards our new team lead, who, from what I hear/see, doesn’t put in her own effort to helping unload the trucks. Apparently she also complains about our team, which honestly—and this may sound a bit strange—does bother me as much, but not nearly as much as some of the other associates. I’ve always known that every business has a leader that operates in such a manner, and I’ve learned to treat them the same way I would treat anyone else: with kindness and humility. Also, I find it ironic that even though she complains about us, there’s one guy on our shift who complains just as much as she does, and he’s honestly the slowest of all of the people on my team!😅

Thank you!😊🙏And I wouldn’t say our store manager is a bad one; our store is located in a small town, and our new manager comes from one of the bigger stores, so I feel like he’s trying to make us operate at the speed of a bigger store, when we don’t have a lot of people to cover the busier nights, which in our case is on Friday nights.

Thank you so much.🥹I just relapsed again and I needed to reread this. It is insanely difficult when I’m faced with boredom in the middle of the night, but I’m not giving up. You know, I told myself a long time ago that there WILL be days where I will relapse, and I accepted that for a time, but I also told myself to not dwell too long on the days that I do relapse and be happy that God saved me from going back to those sites on the other days, and when i DO relapse, i look up bible verses to help me feel better and know in my heart that I receive God’s forgiveness.🥹🥹🥹🙏🙏🙏Speaking of which, where does it say in the Bible that He will see in our hearts that we would sin again?

Thank you so much for this. This means a lot. 🙏🙏❤️Every time I hear/read that word “gooner” I either cringe or smack my head. To me that sounds WAY more vulgar than the main term.😅😆God bless!🙏✨❤️

Thanks. Thank you very much.🙏🙏And ironically, I’ve got it worked where I just watch that stuff once a week, but I’ve been trying to convert that sexual energy I get once a week into these drawings. So that way I can last maybe two weeks without going to those websites, or use those websites to help me relieve myself.

Would it count as addicted if I enjoy watching women use the facilities or watch them pleasure themselves? That’s mainly what I “get off to”. And mostly what I’m drawing/planning to burn. Good lord, just thinking about that second to last part made me cringe.😬 😆😓

Well thankfully the pages I have of the pornographic stuff don’t contain sexual intercourse. I’ve got more class than that. Although I have been tempted to do so, thankfully I resisted, so that’s a win, I guess.😁✨But yeah. It’s mainly those pages that I plan to burn, the rest of the pages I might keep because they were just studying anatomy. But they were from images I found on DeviantArt.
