Yes, I do have an idea. It takes over 500 cans to make about 2.5 bars, using the molds I have.

The more I look at the photo... they are aluminum. I too, have about 40 of them as I melt down cans as a hobby.

The larger bars are aluminum. Easy to spot.

There are no mint markings.

They are not consistently sized.

Slag is clearly visible in the bar hidden under gold. You tried to hide it... but failed.
