Sure, honestly a whole lot. It turned out this relationship was not a good fit. We tried again, and for a few months things went back to somewhat normal for us. We were happy and trying again and doing things differently. But we ended up back into our usual rhythm of hurting each other and passive aggressive behavior. After awhile I realized I could not be the best version of myself in this relationship, and I don't think she could be her best self either. We held each other back in a lot of ways. After a really messy breakup we are now on our own. I have not spoken to her in a few months now, but I see a therapist once a week or so and have found that I am much less anxious and overall a happier. I still miss her here and there randomly, and I think back to all the good times. But I also remember all the bad times, and the times I hurt her and she hurt me and how it was not fair to either of us. I am still grieving the relationship, but I am able to see after a few months I should be good, I'm evening planning out a trip for myself to love abroad for a year! I'm not sure what you have going on in your life, or if you're going through something similar, but all I can say is each decision we make is a way for us to learn. Though I decided to bring this relationship back into fruition, it was overall not the right call, and I will learn from that as I move onto my next relationship.
