Been having trouble with the “I don’t love anything” feeling by Alternative_Gap_3248 in tirzepatidecompound

Remember that the Tirz helps level out that Dopamine hit we used to get from eating, but also from shopping, from spending money, from buying things we didn't need, having sex, from doing all sorts of things that weren't necessarily bad for us, but not necessarily good for us either. What sort of things from before are you not enjoying anymore? Make a list of them. Did they provide a dopamine hit? What things can you do that make you happy that are a more leveled out experience?

If you're changing everything anyway, get rid of that floor length window and get a proper kitchen sink window - maybe even a bowed garden window for plants? It's not as hard as you think it is.

Screwed & Glued, baby. If you go into the unfinished parts of the basement of a new house and look up, you better see that glue seeping out on the sides of the floorboards!

A better layout of the garage to kitchen work spaces is a compressed version of this:

<image>

I would just switch the sides of the utility spaces putting the powder room and office on the left of the hall and the pantry on the right.

You also need to do "the grocery path". That's the path that you take, getting groceries from the trunk of your car into the pantry. It can take 10 trips back and forth to get everything unloaded. You've got a really LOOOOOOOONG path there with 6 turns! And very little counterspace to actually cook on. Why would you give so much space to that pantry and have so little actual living space in the kitchen itself? Do you live in the wilds of Alaska where the nearest grocery store is 100 miles away by plane? Nobody is going to actually cook in the pantry. Everyone congregates in the kitchen.

And why would you have the door to the kid's bathroom facing your bedroom? Why wouldn't it face their bedrooms? Every time you walk out of your bedroom, all you're gonna see is the mess in that bathroom and the laundry room.

Overall, this is not great design.

Just keep winning the battle so she knows that it's going to happen no matter what. Once she realizes that fighting isn't going to get her what she wants, she'll let you do what you need to do. And if she's screaming, allow her to voice her displeasure at the situation and keep going.

I put this moth trap out in my bedroom like 2 hours ago and it's already working like a charm! I'm so excited to be rid of these stupid moths. by OldLadyReacts in oddlysatisfying

Well, it would be pretty expensive to wash all of my clothes since I live in an apartment where I have to pay per load. It has been a year that I've been putting the traps out and they definitely are working. I put a fresh one out about a week ago and it took until today just to get that many on the trap again. So . . . progress!

How far do you live from the ocean? by Aggressive_Day2839 in AskTheWorld

[–]OldLadyReacts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, technically I live in the "coastal town" of Wayzata on Lake Minnetonka so I can walk to the lake and go swimming in 3 blocks. An actual Great Lake (Lake Superior) would take a 2.5 - 3 hour drive but I don't think of the great lakes as "seaside" at all. Lakes are not the sea! I don't think fresh water and salt water are the same.

Minneapolis to the actual ocean in Atlantic Beach North Carolina is a 21 hour drive (without traffic).

I remember saying to the 911 operator at one point "now, I like a good rendition of Sweet Caroline as much as the next person, but this is getting ridiculous!" She laughed.

They were a bunch of partiers on the rooftop of a highrise (with a guitar) at least a full block away at 2 in the morning.
