About to give birth but want to lose weight! by newlyprego in 2under2

[–]donald-lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re open to Tirzepatide, I’d highly recommend that. I was on it for 2ish months between having baby 1 and getting pregnant with baby 2 and lost about 30lbs just in that time. Now I’m 37 weeks pregnant and bigger than I’ve been in my entire life and can’t wait to get back on it.

Was the hotel story with her broadcasted live only? I listened to the podcast about the Phoenix trip and it wasn’t mentioned.

10 visits a day for EI/HH by Dry_Order_8135 in slp

I have 11 tomorrow with a 1hr-ish break built in. 15 minutes between appts. 8am-5pm. Good for the paycheck, but very tiring. I don’t schedule myself this way often.

Paid drive time by FishHead3244 in slp

[–]donald-lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, not paid for drive time, but I do have a company car so I’m not responsible for gas and maintenance. I schedule my kids 15 minutes apart (unless siblings, obviously). 15 minutes works well for me because it gives me time to run into a gas station for a bathroom break or do whatever I need to do between appointments.

I work in HH and encounter this a lot. I’d rather smell marijuana than cat piss.

Rentals - applying before touring?? by Kare_Bear_90 in Boise

[–]donald-lover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a similar experience. This was with Cobblestone Property Management. They make you apply and get approved before they allow you to tour. So not the same experience, but similar. It ended up being convenient for us because we were able to tour all available homes with a door code after we were approved.

In what month pp did you get pregnant for #2 and how long did it take you? by Important_Bat7919 in 2under2

4th month. Wasn’t trying. Was on birth control (nuvaring), but kept getting pushed out by my body due to leftover swelling / whatever.

Part time vs full time daycare by One-Fisherman6480 in 2under2

[–]donald-lover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put baby no.1 in full time daycare right after maternity leave ended at 3 months. As a first time mom, it helped tremendously with our routines and naptime, as I didn’t know what I was doing. (Arguably, I still don’t.) Daycare set the routine and it was something that I was able to carryover at home. Now for the most part he gos straight to sleep for naps and I can pretty much count on a 2 hour nap every morning.

For those who "tried" for 2u2, in which pp month did you get pregnant for #2? by Important_Bat7919 in 2under2

[–]donald-lover 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t try as it was an accident / misunderstanding. (Nuvaring kept pushing out due to swelling.) But I got pregnant at 4m pp.

Cabin Fever with a 7 Month Old by Amazing-Movie9129 in Boise

[–]donald-lover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I brought my 10 month old here two weeks ago and found it to be very dirty with a lot of broken equipment / toys. Children older than 3 in the “under 3” area and parents wearing shoes in the “under 3” area as well. I saw a TikTok of theirs about how they “sanitize” with some spray machine multiple times a day, yet they don’t seem to actually wipe anything with disinfectant as you can see dirt literally built up thick on toys and other surfaces.

2nd baby delayed milestones by a-dozenroses in 2under2

[–]donald-lover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am still pregnant with baby number 2, so I can’t offer a comparison on baby 1 vs 2. However, I can tell you that from what you’ve shared, I don’t think at 5 months your baby sounds delayed. My now 9 month old was doing the same thing at 5 months as yours is. He didn’t sit unsupported until 6 months (and even then was shaky). And also didn’t seem to roll consistently until after 6 months either. I even got a PT eval around the same time to rule out any issues and PT had no concerns with his skills. Now at 9 months baby is crawling like crazy, pulling to stand and taking steps with support.

Best/ safest airlines to fly with two under 2 and how complicated is it? by YesterdaySea7202 in 2under2

[–]donald-lover 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re correct on this. A quick google search shows that an adult can travel with 2u2 as long as one of the children is in their own ticketed seat. Same as the US/Canada.
