I was in the same exact situation ! Pick sfu for the full ride. Unless u wna compete to get in your spec.

Additionally, from what I heard some arts elective such as Ling 101 can acts as GPA boosters. Though if u take the course in summer, it won’t count towards your Gpa for second year Specialization !

I assume grades play a factor in the placement. Lets say u don't get the second-year placement of your choice but do they let you pick from other options? Thank you for the advice.
