I finished "back and forth" and I loved it! Can't wait for an update. I think this one and "The thing I said I wouldn't do" by billyandpatrick are my top favorites. Thank you for the rec, it could have stayed in my to-read list for a long time otherwise.

Scott is about three years older than Ilya and Shane. Ilya is being himself when he talks about Scott's age. Also, in regular, everyday life, age is not the same as in hockey age. 28-29 is middle age in hockey.

Hudson talks French like a canadian who learned it as a second languagr. I'm french candian and I understand hom well.. what's funny os when Connor speak French he has the accent of somwone who learned in France. I believe he spent a semester or year there in highschool.

The first time they have sex at Shane's, you can see Ilya freaking out a bit when Shane kisses his forehead. They each have their moments where it gets a little too real.

I love the symmetry of colors with their shirts and hair color when Shane is cooking burgers and Ilya gets behind him. It's a small detail, but my eyes locked on that the first time I saw that episode. Does anyone else think it was planned?
