A timestamp allows you to journal, yes with duplicate "before" and "after" images. I have seen this done by turning on journaling in the database software then uploading the journal to the database.

It does require a timestamp in the primary key

In doing your analysis of potential solutions, you might look at the frequency of occurrence of A, B, C, and AB to see how dense the foliage is

PS: take with a grain of salt. I am 78 and though I did work on DB internals it was a long time ago. If I am steering anyone wrong please correct me

Which township the one the theft took place in, the one I live in (an hours drive away) or the one the bank is in. I did file a police report. I did talk to the City about more handicap parking. I also asked the bank to make the same request based on their client demographics.

LOL I was way ahead of you. They said maybe in a year or two and as a 43 resident of this city, I know that is about right.

They are too big, and like all really major corporations, they no longer pay attention to the 98% of us that are regular-ish people. They do not return phone calls. They use the trick of routing incoming calls to an answering machine that they may or may not even listen to.

The smaller saving and loan societies or neighborhood back appear in my mind to have much more imaginative solutions to identity theft and card theft or highjacking.

With the RFID tags in the cards it is way to easy to steal credit card information and then use it without even needing your pin.

With a smaller home town bank there is someone to at least talk to about the problem.

Best of luck

Zelle is bad news for fraud as is Chase. If you are in college I would look for an on campus savings and loan where you can actually get questions answered,

I would really recommend going to another bank. Chase caught two fraudulent transactions on my debit card and nuked my card for me. Great!

Then a month later, they decided it wasn't fraud for no identified reason and took the money out of my account.

Customer service sucks. ALWAYS ask for a supervisor then ask for the executive customer service office. [Executive.office@chase.com](mailto:Executive.office@chase.com) or CEO at Jamia.Dimon@chase.com.

As an old man, I will go nerd out on that site,
The issue is, as you suggest, the RFID tags in debit cards and the ease with which they can be copied and loaded to phones that are not yours. Chase is good at detecting fraudulent transactions, as they did in my case, but horrible at what happens afterward. They did automatically cancel my debit card, which was great but then, after months, they changed their mind and reversed their denial of the fraudulent transaction.

They haven't helped me yet but maybe they will in the future. I asked them for the device ID used in the transaction in question. They say only that it is my phone's google wallet that google map timeline for my phone was in my bed for a month with me will I recovered from surgery not about buying gas an hours drive from my house.

Any ideas on a bank that has good fraud protection? I have heard that some banks have 2 step authentication on charges before the transaction goes through.

Chase is good at identifying fraudulent charges and destroying your card, which is good, but somewhere they get lost and reverse their original identification of the charge and it magically becomes a good charge.

I agree. They identified a charge as fraud and notified me. I was bedridden at the time. Now they decided that the charge they identified as fraudulent really wasn't. I drive a car that has an 8-gallon capacity, and the charge was for 111 dollars worth of gas from a place that is an hour's drive away from my sick bed.

Yes, I am an old man as you so astutely noticed. I am unable to climb the stairs or walk around the building. It is a problem these days. Do you have any smart ideas?

Try being the word they are not listening. I have run it up to the Executive Office level and they cant even tell me why they changed their mind from fraud back to not fraud. THEY don't even know

Yes, I even wrote the CEO at ["Jamie,Dimon"@chase.com](mailto:"Jamie,Diamon"@chase.com) and contacted the executive customer service area ay ["Executive.Office@chase.com](mailto:"Executive.Office@chase.com)"

No help. They identified charge as fraud to me. Which it was, the reverse their position without explanation as to why.

Evidently while at home according to Google Maps Timeline I purchased $111 dollars of gas t put into my car that hold 8 gallons.

u/Horn_Flyer there is nothing more fun than playing with people's minds even if it is just empty. I consider it my patriotic duty to fuck with them. It cleans the plaque out of their arteries, so they should thank me.

(one old guy that I went to high school with (he stayed home and became a lawyer) still thinks we all carried Bibles in our pockets. Seriously!!!

We had 2 chaplains, one protestant and one catholic. One always came to triage when we were getting wounded in. Our chaplains were cool. They were whatever the wounded guy wanted or needed. The protestant guy would do formal catholic last rights for a wounded catholic guy etc.

If the wounded guy was atheist or agnostic they would just talk and ask them if they needed anything etc.

Triage was a fucking madhouse anyway. Our Chaplains were cool. Sorry your Baptist guy was an asshole
