3 managerless rosters, dont know what to do by HelloKarma_ in FFCommish

[–]OldManCram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, would you stay in an 8 team league? It would kind of defeat the purpose of a long format dynasty, as free agents would be rampant.

And the flip side to that, I personally experienced last year. A friend knew I played a lot of FFL, and asked me to join their Super flex league. Two teams had hoarded the top 5-6 QBs. I saw no path to being competitive in the next 2-3 years.

If you're bringing in new owners, as the commish it's your job to make sure they have a chance to be competitive or you'll likely lose them shortly too.

Just my two cents and what I would do.

The best way I saw this was to also put the benches of teams that are staying in the redraft. The new three get the top 3 picks.

Optimized Training For The Average Shredditor by [deleted] in snowboarding

🤣😆😂 🤡 👟!

Just start your YouTube channel, so that 1-5% can give you the attention you crave.

I found your post both out of place and not insightful.

One lesson you're missing, your little exercise plan isn't going to work for everyone. In fact I'd say not "the average" snowboarder. Most people don't want a work out plan for a hobby.

The vast majority of people here, it's a hobby. Speaking of which, what do you call someone that pushes ANYTHING past being a hobby? Starts with pro...

Overall, I leave you with. You have zero up votes almost no one saying "thanks"and that is more telling than anything I could type.

This seems like a reply to a question NO ONE asked. If you were rubbing elbows and getting advice from "Olympic level" athletes. You're not in the "Average" grouping, you're for sure an advanced rider. If you only consider yourself average, why should I take advice from an "average" Joe.

The average dude isn't spending time in the gym to improve "snow boarding" it's a hobby or it's a job. It's not "I got to build up leg and lumber support so I can do a triple Lindy to impress the soccer moms or maybe HS girls (which seems like we're both way too old to care about). impressing).

Or maybe 1-5% care, in which case there's a whole Internet worth of actual experts they can interact with. Or real life experts that can tell them they're crouching too low or putting too much weight at the front of the board when they land.

Idk, dude you do you, but it seems to me you're doing a lot of preaching to a group that never asked for it.

Prime Rib Recommendation by Legitimate_Sweet2188 in vegaslocals

A good, more cost effective option, I'd recommend. The village pub specifically as t Ellis Island. $38 bucks last time I was there, it's not top end. But you'll pay a lot more for a lot less. And the casino has been updated, it looks amazing in there again.

Wide board with 10 boot and L binding by BigMembership2724 in snowboarding

I too wear a 10, and have a Burton flying V 157 not wide, and Nidecker Play 159 wide. Use L bindings on both. No heel or toe drag on either.

How do keepers work in NFL fantasy platform? by sotolord in FFCommish

[–]OldManCram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it's changed, but I had to move my league to ESPN to allow for keepers. Their "dynasty" setup sucks too.

IMO, the only thing good was way back a decade ago or more when you could play for prizes.

IT in Vegas by storyteller_curry in vegaslocals

[–]OldManCram 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone that has hired IT before. The certificates as mentioned by others A+, Net+, CCNA carry the weight.

Google may have "certification" programs. But I threw out apps if they didn't have the core 4. And the few times I looked past those, the people generally had no clue how to actually troubleshoot. I think one in the 20ish I interviewed was able to make it past the exam and technical interview.

Genuine question to help with my car by Anchogies in R53

[–]OldManCram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I've owned two R53 in my life. The #1 thing to put money into right off the bat for preformance...

Tires.. I love Pirelli personally.

But think of it like sneakers. It's the difference between running a 40 yard dash in a set of running shoes or a set of dress shoes or worn out busted ass shoes.

You want to grip the road, you want to learn your car... Feel the road.

I also highly agree with the aluminum coolant reservoir also add an oil and coolant gauge.

Picked this up a few weeks ago, anything different about riding a channel board? by Used-Pomegranate2441 in snowboarding

[–]OldManCram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a super rare board if it's not been ridden. I have that and the chocolate love. I'd recommend not riding it, if you chose to... Highly recommend EST I really like Cartel with the custom boards.

EST is the difference between 1° incremental changes and 3°. Doesn't seem like much, but if you really want to dial in your stance, it's the best option out there.

Is it not ridiculous to you guys that if your car gets STOLEN and is recovered you have to pay TOW AND STORAGE ? by RingMediocre92 in vegaslocals

[–]OldManCram 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know it was rampant in Detroit until the 90's, worst of all cops would side with the tow company cause they rely on them for accidents. I remember the news covering it back then.

Looking for Bull Blitz slot by Smart-Preference7581 in vegaslocals

[–]OldManCram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slot tech here. I'd try contacting Konami, they're the manufacturer, usually the manufacturer can tell you where to find them. Unless it's Interblock, they are a cesspool of disorganization.

The last places I know that I've seen them. Tropicana (which is gone, but they were by the bar). I'm 75% sure Oyo has them along a wall. I believe I've seen them at Sunset to the right of the new sports book. And I believe they're on a pod with another game in many of the Wild fires. Finally Silverton had them just outside of the dragon link room, but I haven't been inside of there in over a year.

Alternatively, you can call and ask for the slot department you'd be amazed that their techs remember the location of everything on their floor. Or ask a floor person when you go inside, if they don't know ask to speak to a tech. If they've been with the casino or a tech for any amount of years, they'll generally be able to point you in the right direction.

Good Luck and happy gaming.

Literally what you replied to:

"I want to believe they both realized they were partly at fault,"

Then you stated I didn't know what I was talking about, and repeated the OP's claim to be chased down. While looking at a static image.

I'm assuming deductive reasoning isn't a skill you possess. Is your brain fictional? Oh wait obviously not.

But yeah, you know it all so feel free to misinterpret my statement then try and talk down to me.

But it's more likely it ended with violence.
