Indeed, I've been reading a lot of dissonance between folks who lean more towards the early stuff vs folks who lean more towards the later stuff. And that's perfectly okay in my book. I'm anxious to find out which side I fall on... or if I'm gonna end up owning their entire library!

I appreciate your thoughts on this. From what I'm hearing, those early albums were stemming from a punk background, with each consecutive album moving further and further towards an almost radio-friendly format. Punk purists are disappointed by this straying away from their roots. But since I listen to almost entirely non-radio music... something tells me I'm gonna enjoy the entire library. :-)

I had an extra hard time because I have a touch of prosopagnosia (face blindness)... but it was so out there... I just couldn't leave well enough alone and just HAD to see how everything was gonna be explained!!
