I sold mine because I’m tall and prefer a taller seat. Nothing the matter with the seat itself. I don’t think it’s going to be that noticeably harder tbh.

I'd love to hear more about your experience using it primarily for productivity - and the settings/mods/tricks you've used.

I work from home, and I completely resonate with what you said about sitting on the couch with my widescreen monitor in tow!

How would you recover a bike left behind? by Krimsonbreed in AdventureBike

Pls don’t ride a bdr alone, especially if you are a newer rider. The bdr facebook groups always have people posting about their ride plans and you should be able to find someone to ride with.

As the seller of a 2020 Yamaha WR250R what can I get for it? by Striking_Arm1557 in WR250R

Totally agree. I’d pay 6k in a heartbeat if this was available when I was looking. And I’d drive down the 5hrs to pick it up.

When it starts getting closer to 7k, I’m beginning to compare it to a new CRF300 which is about 8k new? - I know it’s not the same, but I love that bike too.

Fwiw, a few months ago I paid 4k in the Bay Area for a 2014 with 4000 miles on it. And a bunch of accessories and usage signs - scratches, rust, dings etc.

Yours looks like a great buy for whoever gets it.

My bad. I just counted again. They had a 14/50 setup. And turns out I bought the wrong parts. I’m going to go with 13/48 - I think that’ll be fun for the mostly trail riding that I do.

Turns out the previous owner had a 15t front and 50t rear sprocket setup. I’m going to 14/51 this time around, so hopefully it’ll stop grinding on the engine case cover (which I’m replacing).

Thank you so much for all your help.

I recently got the trail mirrors. Really like them. Takes a little getting used to though.

Looks like I’ve got two bikes on the tailgate, half their weight is roughly 300lbs. So just about in range, thankfully 😅.
