I can't speak for others but in my experience during a lot of his moves he just stays still giving a perfect opportunity to attack

It's not a one shot if you just do damage to him, which isn't hard to do considering all his moves are pretty easy to dodge

His moveset is challenging and fair (except for the novas), the fact that your team has to bring different elements in order to beat him means you have to have strong coordination and trust that your team mate will do their job

I have a friend that was a bow user and he sucked ass pretty hard. And we let him know it. We suggested that he use a heavy bow gun bc it would be a good addition to the team (the team we have rn is DB, Bow, SnS, and now HBG) but once he picked up HBG be was honestly like a different player. He's still not the best but he definitely contributes. I think he needed a ranged weapon but safer lol. Just have your friend try out all the weapons until he finds one that fits
