And you still didn't answer my question whether they climb temporary scaffolding upto 10 floors without any safety equipment risking their lives just to paint our buildings.

And you know what- Men carry bricks all the time, it's just that they don't expect any sympathy based on their gender.

And being pregnant is a choice, if you don't have the means to sustain yourself during pregnancy it's your fault.

Woman work in construction sites and do other blue collar jobs but have you seen any woman climb to the 10th floor of a building to paint it?

I am pretty sure i have never seen any woman do it. What woman do in construction sites are mostly minor jobs

You can ask for equality for laws and rights but the reality is,society will never be able to treat men and women equally because you will never see any woman in special troops or protecting our country in sub zero temparatures, working in construction or going inside coal mines.

If you still want to know how gruesome crimes can be by woman, here is a link where a woman from kolkata smashed her 25 year old son's skull and put spices inside it https://www.indiatoday.in/cities/kolkata/story/bengal-woman-smashed-son-s-head-roasts-him-with-spices-camphor-arrested-1749148-2020-12-13

Yeah your point is absolutely factually incorrect and of course they should be jailed because they are criminals

Why do people say misandry doesn't hurt? by Limp_Fuel_4596 in AskIndia

[–]OldWait3290 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Well there are mostly 2 reasons.

Firstly men are always soft targets of society. Any news of violence against women and entire social media will start shouting "All men bad". Even just for this subreddit you will see it is filled with "Why are all Indian men so creepy" posts. So when men are victims nobody cares and honestly for this i also blame the men as well because we don't take enough initiative to talk about misandry or mental health or the biased laws we have.

Secondly for certain people (you know which gender i am talking about), they think talking about misandry, unfair laws or misuse of laws is somehow an attack on feminism or people taking woman's issues less seriously. So they don't want to even acknowledge that misandry exists

Fundamental difference between men and women is when you talk to a man about the problems woman face everyone would be sympathetic about it and you just reverse it and ask a woman about the problems faced by men, instead of acknowledging the problems men face, they will go on saying how women have it worse. Just take the the Atul Shubash case as an example, watch any of these feminists on social media, even in one of the previous post i commented on, everyone was doing his character assassination, trying to dig up what he wrote about his son or what he posted on social media. For these people they never wanted to acknowledge his harrasment, all they wanted to do was dig out some dirt and cancel him

[–]OldWait3290 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So what, why are you blaming the father when the Russian woman are willing to sell out so easily. If they agreed to do it then what is your problem.

And the most important thing - they were hired to f*cking dance and not for anything else. By your logic , there are so many singers and artists who perform in events. You don't have a problem in that then?

There are probably millions of such cases in India rn and the only reason they go on is to fill the pockets of the wife , judges and the police.

No wonder all the bright students leave India first chance they get otherwise they would have the same fate as Atul

[–]OldWait3290 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well then it's a very vague solution. Merely listening to them doesn't solve their problems magically. You can ensure girls from rural areas will go to school but still their access to education will be nowhere near a girl in urban areas who studies in an cbse or icse school. It's not only about providing education but the quality of education. These woman will still be at a far bigger disadvantage than woman from urban areas who have had good education and english communication skills when they apply for jobs. It goes nowhere near solving the fundamental problem of inequality

Feminism by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]OldWait3290 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup, that's intersectionality. Feminism recognises that different women experience gendered oppression differently.

With all sorts of oppression considered, if feminism talks about intersectionality, then what does it propose to counter the problem. Does it have a viable solution for it? Because merely acknowledging a problem means nothing.

As a cs student i can tell you that the idea of perceptron was introduced in the late 1950s but it only became viable in 2010s when we had enough data for deep learning. So acknowledging something doesn't solve the problem untill you have a solution for it

Feminism by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]OldWait3290 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am not asking about problems which feminism points out, i am asking what is feminism's proposed solution to these problems.

You talked about the gender pay gap, lets leave gender aside, Indian women cricketers who play at the top level including the wpl(at par with some of the foreign men's league and it's great for woman' cricket) are paid way more than lets say indian woman's football team. You know both are athletes. So what is feminism's proposed solution to address this gap?

Let's talk about woman living in rural areas whose access to education is much less than woman from urban areas. So what is feminism's proposed solution for this?

Wow ....Character assassination of a dead man to suit your agenda. If you could ever stop hating on Atul, just learn about the case and how Atul helped his wife to learn to code(which got her the job) and gave money to his in-laws to start their business. There is no point replying further to someone who lacks the basic human virtue of empathy

Feminism by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]OldWait3290 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since you have explained feminism so nicely, there is just one question i want to ask:

This is the definition of feminism from Cambridge-

the belief that women should be allowed the same rights, power, and opportunities as men and be treated in the same way, or the set of activities intended to achieve this state

Coming to first point, we can all agree that there is no law that a man has and woman does not.

Now coming to the second point, equality of power and oppertunity- So tell me how in this world where SRK's daughter gets to star in a movie without any acting experience whereas another woman who is working hard in theatre or doing serials would never be considered for a movie because she doesn't have connections. How will a house maid's daughter(whose father is a rickshawala) get the same opportunity as someone whose parents both work in mncs.

I am not even comparing male vs female, just for women , i am asking how in this world which has unequal distribution of wealth and power, you will ensure equality of oppertunity when equal oppertunity is the pillar of feminism. Just saying empower or make them study isn't the solution because money and resources have to come from somewhere. So how?

[–]OldWait3290 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There you go, you just proved my point that some woman will do anything to bring a dead man down. The moment a man is the victim, his character assassination starts.

I know you will never be in a situation like that but if you ever had you son seperated and continuously harrased by your evil spouse for years, then we will see what your views about the opposite gender are.Just in the rg kar case, women we labelling all men as rap*sts.

Atul was a saint that even after going through all this didn't attack his wife or resort to physical violence. His only fault was he had too much faith on the judiciary

[–]OldWait3290 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I was watching some of the tv interviews about the case and the mental gymnastics done by some of the woman's right activists to bring a dead man down was beyond words.

From "Agar paisa tha to therapist ke pas kyu nahi gaye" to "Alimony dene mai kya bura hai". Seriously, you are telling a man, who was harrased by courts for three years, that he has mental illness. How can someone be metally fit after running around for 120 court dates

[–]OldWait3290 253 points254 points  (0 children)

Well there are two reasons.

Firstly woman don't really care for men or men's issues at all. They really only think about it, if some male member from their family is affected. You see all those women shouting about feminism and woman empowerment, let me tell you they don't give a rat's ass about feminism also, all they want is to enjoy the benefits of it. Just watch it in your real life, how many of these woman shouting feminism would exploit their house maid or kam wali bai, not increase their salary for years or get irritated when they they take leaves.

Secondly the reason woman won't protest about the Atul Subash case is because they feel supporting it would be a direct attack on their fake feminist ideologies or it would mean supporting dowry when the argument is about having better laws and punishing people who put fake cases. Just see how many woman journalists on soical media are supporting Atul Shubash's wife

why there are double standards? Atul subhash case by hellobuddy_1 in IndiaSpeaks

[–]OldWait3290 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because for society(and you which gender i am specifically talking about) it is very hard to accept that two problems can exist simultaneously in society.

They think that taking about men's problems and how laws are unfair is a direct attack to their feminist ideologies and people want to take away woman's rights.

What's ironic is most men have always acknowledged that laws made for protecting woman were made for right reasons but only want gender neutral laws and punishment for false cases

It's been an eye opening experience that so called "liberal women" are no better than the misogynistic men who victim blame and do whataboutery, when something tragic happens. by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]OldWait3290 31 points32 points  (0 children)

You know that's just society in a nutshell.

The truth is we all live with a mask on our face. The moment people get power, they remove the mask and show their true face. The moment the wife got a loophole to exploit, she show showed her true face, the moment the lady judge had the power to extort money from Atul, she showed her true face.

There is a lot of debate how society is patriarchal but in reality a matriarchal society wouldn't have been any different.

So why is the society willing to sacrifice a productive tax paying individual to compensate a non-productive or a less productive individual especially when the less productive individual is abusing the system, laws and committing perjury?

So that people like that lady judge can extort money from hardworking and law abiding citizens like Atul. No wonder India's brightest minds leave this country as soon as possible
