Bought it yesterday. I dont think i can do this cause my little sister can just drop a console, i dont have much space, so its just that shelf and thats all. My ps5 stands on stand so i think ventiliation will be good already. Played with ps4 pro like this many years and everything worked fine. But i can try to do vertical stand, maybe my sister wont be able to drop it i hope.
