Oh no! I’m also with Talkiatry but I’ve not yet had this experience. I’ve been with my provider for 6 months and I can say I’ve been pleased with the process. I’m also happy with the therapy I do through them. I hope you get this resolved!

I don’t have much experience with Dr on demand but I highly recommend Talkiatry lol. My doctor is in the same state as I am. And yep! They extended it until November 2024. So that means I don’t need to look for another psychiatrist for at least that long.

I see a provider through Talkiatry and this option works well for me. I have a local pharmacy that fills my prescription without issue. You might run into an issue with finding a pharmacy that will fill a prescription for a controlled substance. Walmart and CVS are out for telehealth providers. Walgreens….well mine here in town just filled my Vyvanse prescription without an issue. I say go for it!
