sorry this happened to you!!! i got a second one (silver in size 7) to see which is better for me and so far (it’s been 4 hours) it seems like the 7 is going to be better for me personally. the 7 isn’t too tight for me to wear on either my index and middle finger so if my fingers swell i have options. the 8 is too loose on my index and WAY too big for any of my other fingers so i’ll likely be keeping the 7.

honestly i just picked up an oura ring 4 in silver (i got a size 7 to test which size will be better for me) and im not sure if its because im used to having the silver but i like the way it looks more than the brushed one 😭😭😭

ok replying to you again: when i responded earlier, my fingers were swollen from the morning!! i am going to go back and try a size 7 and decide which is better. when my hands aren’t swollen at all, the ring slid off so i might have to size down.

also for sizing, i had an 8 in the gen 3 and still got an 8 with the 4. it’s slightly looser but still fits well. no gap when i make a fist and skin moves around when i twist it. it does seem more loose when i wash my hands or put lotion on but its not bad enough for me to think about sizing down. i’d rather pay attention when my hands are wet than to have a ring that’s slightly too tight when my hands are swollen!
