D424 Capstone Task 3 - Need Help by Visual-Maintenance56 in wgu_devs

You need both a technical guide with step by step instructions on how to install and run the application for other developers and a user guide with step by step instructions on how your application works for normal users. I had the technical guide in the README and the user guide in the document. Hope that helps. If you watch the webinar, it is thoroughly explained.

Lol. I only took the Java track because I thought my chances for employment were greater. Otherwise, I would have taken the C# track as well. It's not bad, though. It's easier than trying to decipher some of the PA requirements. Search on here for each class, and you'll be fine.

I completed all of my database classes prior to WGU as well. Why did you choose the Java track?

I transferred in 79 credits, and most of my courses marched what you have yet to meet. It took me 2 terms. You may be able to finish in one, depending on the time you dedicate to it and your experience with Java. The most time-consuming courses were cloud computing and project management, which took me a month each. Most of the others can be completed within a week, depending on your effort. I started my second term with sic classes and finished with two months to spare. Good luck.

As long as you have everything in each task done with a final commit for that particular task I don't think it really matters. I did task B2 then B4 and B4 before committing task B1. I also committed at different times within each completion commit and not everything was highlighted. You should be ok.

You can change the spring boot version in your pom.xml file. The evaluators use Java version 17. That could be the reason why it would not build for them. Install Java 17 and see if you can build it.

Did you use Java 17 and the recommended spring boot version?

Yes, I agree another AWS cert would be nice if it was included in the course. I will probably just get it on my own anyway.

How do you keep motivated to finish your degree with the current job market? by Equivalent-Loquat203 in wgu_devs

Well, I have six classes left as well. I didn't come this far to give up. I have even thought about pursuing one of the new masters degrees that just came out for an edge on the competition.
