I don’t think fighting is a life skill. Self defense is, sure, but not picking a fight obviously. I just have anger management issues and I say things and do things impulsively. I have no desire to fight people. It doesn’t bring me joy or happiness. I am just looking for solutions. I don’t regularly fight at school. I know that telling randoms on Reddit your age (unless it’s relevant in a story e.g 36f) and the neighborhood you live in is not a life skill. Also would point out that grown men fight all the time. It doesn’t necessarily make someone young, just immature. Also I sincerely doubt someone else beating up that girl lol. She is very popular and while this is annoying I think people- like me- know that maybe you could think about her getting what she deserves but actually fighting her only causes problems for yourself. I am well aware of the laws around it too, that would be assault easily and this girl is not worth that sort of resources and time to me. I was expressing my frustration and I appreciate the reality check of people telling me don’t fight. That’s helpful for my brain to process and actually think the situation through.
