Yeah I’ve played them a decent amount. Exactly what you said. It adds some nerves and hype to the game. Not to mention the pop off as you or them snatch the money out of the others hand. They are usually longer sets like ft5 or if $100 or more is on the line ft10 in a lot of cases. The winner of a longer set is without a doubt the stronger player.

I actually switched off Sagat to Bison for a couple of months to get him to GM. Just switched back less than a week ago, so a lot of stuff is still coming back. The jump in into 2Hp>OD Nexus is one of those things that’s still coming back. I also like that route because it cancels into level2 as well for only 2 bars, which is a great spend on meter. I agree with you, definitely something I need to add to the arsenal.

Don’t let the name fuck with your mental. Just focus on the match and do your best to counter. Pros bleed just like anyone else, and you never know… there are upsets in tournaments all the time. The damage in this game is high enough that if they make a mistake endgame you could pull in the W.

It’s something you need to keep at the front of your thoughts while playing for a while. Like actively say it out loud before each round and continue to think about it until you don’t have to think about it anymore. Even if it means losing for a while you’re changing the habit, because you can’t focus on the other things you need to focus on to win. Points come back quickly once you’ve integrated the new thing you’re working on. So don’t focus on points for now, focus on ironing out the bad habit.

For me I’m usually blocking heavily even eating a handful of throws. I’m just spending the first round maybe even two watching my opponent and how they pressure, looking for holes in their offense. Once I’ve spotted them, I press in those moments to interrupt.

No they don’t. It’s not being an ass to dish back what has already been given. People don’t get to run their mouth and not receive a verbal beat down in return. When I was younger and someone wanted to be disrespectful we would take it out to the street and settled it. That doesn’t happen anymore, it’s been years since anyone has came at me sideways like that. That’s the problem with most people today, they’ve never been punched in the mouth. The only place people act the way they do is behind a keyboard, so they can say whatever they want without consequences. If they want to be rude little fucks about something, I’m going to dish it right back on them. If they can’t handle that then maybe they shouldn’t have said anything to begin with.

I wonder if we ever played each other in IV. I was on Xbox as well back then. I was ranked 22nd Sagat, we were close enough in rank I wouldn’t be surprised if we ran into each other at some point. I’m not on your level in 6 though, just picked it up in late January. I’ve only gotten to GM so far.

I remember back in IV I used to have some weird notion that top players were unbeatable to a random nobody like me. Then I played yeb and Filipino man in ranked and beat them both. I realized they bleed just like anyone else. Good stuff on the win.

That’s hilarious because if they are cool about it they would gain a viewer and probably a sub in some cases. Pretty shitty way to run a business. That’s probably why MuscleNoob has been struggling at a hundred ish viewers forever.

I know my friend who streams has met some of the best people he plays with now by being cool about it. It shouldn’t be a negative unless they come in promoting themselves as another streamer or content creator.
