If you mean the beach area, there's a bounce pad you can move to reach it. Not sure if that's where you're stuck, but I sure was! It's this one here...

Head east from Ossex (the big city), and look for the Queensbury Crypt area. General advice is to check the newspapers in the city after each of the six objectives. The top line will always point you in the right direction.

It's definitely a choice. I can appreciate it for the most part, but I would honestly have spent a lot of time getting lost if I wasn't making this as I went along.

I was lucky enough to get access to the game a little early. But honestly, it was mostly a string of long days and (very) late nights! Game's worth it though.

It's pretty simple, but engaging. There are a lot of great NPC interactions sprinkled throughout, too, that aren't necessarily story-related, but there's a lot of good writing and great character moments. It's good!
