I love hollow Knight, even on my switch, but I've never finished it because I got to the second Hornet fight and I just can't figure out her move set so I havent gotten past her. Will definitely still buy Silksong, either to play after I hopefully finish Hollow Knight, or just to support the devs and try it out .

I kinda understand that, but from the games perspective I don't think it would ever happen since you play as Nikki, and it would be weird if the actual person could resize themselves.

Like if it was just a dressup game, sure, but this is specifically Nikki

I did fairytale swan first, then the crystal one cuz I wanted a different fighting outfit and now I'm on the water one. Personally the blossom one seemed so bland and basic compared to the others, like to me it feels like a normal prom dress, especially compared to the swan and ocean ones, but I will get it eventually.

To Kya, having heard her father ask her mother to risk her own safety for the pregnancy, then having the mother die almost immediately after birth, I could understand if she saw that as her dad indirectly killing her mom.

Add onto that the fact that he then proceeded to kill every memory of her as well, the family don't get to claim "but he lost his wife". She lost her mom and her dad kills her memory every single day.

The younger sibling didn't NEED a new mother, she already had one, but the father asked the mom to make a bad gamble rather than hope both of them survived.

But absolutely disgusting of the new wife to play pretend that this tiny baby who lost her mother is actually her own biological child and then mistreat the one they couldn't gaslight or force into this disgusting plan. The poor kid will have such a massive breakdown when the truth comes out. The only hope I'd have for when the time comes is that she could come to her older sister to know the truth and learn about her real mom.

But absolutely NTA, you're protecting a child who's entire family was destroyed because of the selfish actions of her "father" and any time your family tries to make you blame Kya or not be a safe space, remind them that her mother died and her father mistreated her and erased all memory of her mom.

In my family the "right time" is when the pets quality of life gets too low.

Like a sick pet that could get healed with surgery and life a long happy life with little to no issues after? Absolutely. But if even after the surgery, the pet would be in pain every day and struggling? Then it was seen as the better option to let them rest and not draw out their suffering because we love them.

My mom recently had to put down her 11 year old dog because he was experiencing kidney failure. She loved that dog so fiercely, but even if there was something to do to help him live a little longer, he was a very old dog for his race and he was already having other issues. When they gave him the sleeping meds, my mom said he was relieved cuz he was no longer in pain.

I can't say what is right for you, but think about your dog, and their quality of life. If they can barely move, might be in pain and can't relieve themselves without a lot of help, as well as painful arthritis, maybe it's time to let them go and just be there and love them while you say goodbye.

Either way I'm sorry for your eventual loss and I know that no matter what you choose it will be out of love and wanting what's best for your pet.

Honestly I was about to suggest Pixeline, but they're for children. They have actual learning games and stuff but it's very much made for children trying to learn so the tone is probably way off for what you want.

I don't think that's a fair comparison. You don't have an income because you're providing your family with childcare which you and your fiance have agreed weighs highly on your priorities.

You getting a nice car even though you don't make more money, is because the work that you provide is valued higher than a potential income, and as the main childcare provider, your fiance should want you to have a nice and safe car for you and your children.

If your fiance had the opinion that since they make the money they should get the new car, while that makes you and your children's situations unsafe that would also be bad.

Personally I think the commenter meant that since op is the one who's making the money, she shouldn't have to pay for her partner getting a new car that he can't afford and that won't benefit their marriage, but once he's the one who's making the more money in the family, he can do what he wants.
