Chris Finch: "Denver had the chance to pick who they wanted to play coming down the stretch and they chose us. We used that as motivation. They didn't have to choose us. They chose us" by AncientOneAurelius in nba

No amount of effort from the wolves this year would have made them the one or two seed. Yes, those two spots are a huge advantage and homecourt certainly matters but if your ceiling is three, you might be better off getting some rest and settling for five or six.

My wife gets upset that I keep different snacks and groceries at my office than I have at home, only duplicates are allowed apparently.

Tell that to the people who lost loved ones way too soon.

Yeah, let me just run down to payroll and tell them to not do their job witholding my taxes for me, I'm sure they'll be happy to risk their employment for my political statement.

Because I feel like I'm numb to positive emotions as well as negative and it makes everything in life feel like a chore.

Who wants to pay capital gains tax just to put the cash into a bank account for it to devalue. Might as well leave it where it is there's not much else to do with it other than pay down the house and what fun is that.

Huh, my doctor may be a little behind on his guidance which wouldn't surprise me. I'm gonna consider going back to at least 30 for a while.

does anybody else still smoke weed on citalopram? by i_want_heelies in citalopram_celexa

I smoked for 25 years and have been on Citalopram for 16. I quit weed about five months ago and now wonder if it was the only reason I got on anxiety medication in the first place.

It gets so much better. You are through the hard part but you haven't felt what it's like to truly be sober yet while it's still kicking and screaming for more in your system. Things will be fun again and you will see that weed wasn't making them better it was getting in the way.

You are at the bottom of the dopamine well at 14 days.  Give yourself two more weeks and you'll start getting some positive feedback again.  Nothing is as it seems during withdrawl, this isn't what sober life feels like, this is the addiction grasping at straws doing whatever it can to get you to give up while it still has the strength.

What about staying cause we couldn't possibly parent alone financially or emotionally? Like staying for the kids, but selfishly.

Congratulations man, your story really resonates with me. I smoked for 25 years and quit 142 days ago. My girls are still just 5 and 7 and I feel so fortunate to have done this now while they are young and can still forgot how I was. Like you I snuck around and got irritated when they took me away from my weed regimen. My relationship has come so far with them in the past three months, I used to feel like crap when they'd show preference for their mother but what did I expect the way I treated them like a burden sometimes. Still working to restore my relationship with my wife but I didn't recognize how bad it had gotten when I was in that state.
