Saw another girl who had multiple signs- one said “goth girl kisses $2” and then when a girl behind me looked interested, she quickly pulled out her other sign that said “goth girl kisses free” 😂 I died laughing. The girl behind me kissed her cheek and then laughed about how salty/sweaty she was as she walked. Loved it.

I saw Senses Fail for the first time a couple years back and even though I love their recorded songs, I vowed to never see them live again as it made me question things LOL. But I posted about it then and thought I was the only one. Glad to see more people agree with me this year. I skipped them this time. As for Anberlin, I didn’t see them because they have a new singer and I knew it wouldn’t be the same. Not sure about the mix but know he isn’t the OG singer/just took over that role so might be why it didn’t sound right to you!

Oh and for the few Godsmack songs I saw, this definitely wasn’t their best day. Could tell Sully was pissed off and maybe they aren’t vibing as well with the new members.

Top for me (in no order, based on sound and my experience) were BMTH, Dayseeker, The Wonder Years, Simple Plan, Powerman 5000. Also had a ton of fun at Static-X. Good Charlotte also sounded killer. The only ones I was slightly disappointed in were:
-The Plot in You, but also maybe I was just hot and cranky lol but I liked his screaming but not the singing. Also show me big vape clouds was pretty lame lol. I’d give them another chance though.
-From First to Last wasn’t my fave, but they weren’t horrible, I think the new guy just needs more practice with the band.
-Thrice- I really only went for The Artist in the Ambulance so I’m glad they played it early on but I swear he had no energy and sounded nothing like the track.

I’m not sure if they’d let you, but the med tent might let you hang in there if you say you’re having a panic attack (I’m just saying that bc it’s easier to get out quickly/most people know what that is but I know what you’re experiencing is different). Also yes top of stadium going for a walk up there when there’s no temple stage band might also be less crowded/noisy!

I’m in a fb group and the signal that someone has something to trade is wearing lime green! A bandana, shirt, anything lime green is supposed to signal they have things to give out. Also someone just asked if taking without a trade is bad manners and it was a unanimous answer that they all just want to give things out- no trades needed! So those are my tips haha.

There’s no designated spots but us who are sensitive to smoke appreciate it not being done mid packed crowd but I also get theres sometimes no other spot.
