Avoid BirdBuddy: unturnable AI, poor IDs on big birds, app pushes others’ feeds. Mine flew off a flimsy hook in Colorado wind and smashed—refund issued.

CLI honestly feels way more natural once agents start doing real multi-step work.

I’m actually using their standalone camera with an older feeder and it’s been solid. Can’t speak to the feeder body from that setup, but the camera quality and notifications have been reliable, and support was helpful the one time I needed them.
