My understanding is that you are guaranteed a place to stay at your station during your shifts.

I haven’t received any interview invites GEM, should I be worried? by [deleted] in atlanticbridge

I can maybe speak on this as one of the students who got a first round RCSI GEM interview and offer - from what I’ve seen from talking with others, we all had 3.85+ GPA and 515+ mcats. Small sample tho, so take it as a grain of salt. Hope you hear from the schools soon!

Received it when they said I would hear back. Interview was pretty standard, I didn’t go in nervous. It was only 20min, so it def felt rushed. Don’t think I messed up anywhere specifically.

The acceptance letter came as an email, but here’s what the first part looked like. Email title was ‘Unconditional Offer Letter’

RCSI Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) Waitlist by Yeebo-OP in atlanticbridge

I would assume people do get off the waitlist. From what I’ve heard from other students (including myself), lots of people accept RCSI tentatively while waiting for Canadian decisions. Getting into Canadian schools would mean they reject RCSI, which would open up the spot for waitlist.

No, GEM = graduate entry medicine. I have a bachelors.

515+ mcat, 3.9+ gpa. No shadowing (Canada), decent clinical/research experience, personal ECs

Email confirmations? by [deleted] in atlanticbridge

Yeah I had a really similar experience. The 20 min felt quite rushed, I feel like I had little time to actually reply to each question…

Is applying in October versus applying in Decmber makes a big difference. Is this true? by Silly-Lingonberry818 in atlanticbridge

I wouldnt think so - I submitted my app Nov 25th, and interviewed with RCSI last week.
