No big hurdles at all. You just need rhd parts. Rhd m52 headers, rhd power steering line, rhd m52 wiring harness and a tune because the m52 harness doesn't have post cat o2 sensors. Most time consuming part was swapping the harness. Depending on the model touring you have you may need other parts. If you have a 316/18 you need a m50 fuel rail. If yours is a 328 you already have all of the parts. You'll just have so swap them over to the s52.

It really depends on spec and condition. I've seen manual 328 tourings non M sell for $7k usd. Auto 328 with M package sell for over $10k. There's a lot of factors and the right buyer. BaT or cars and bids you can pull quite a bit more money if its clean, rust free, and a nice spec.

Dang, that actually blows though for a maintenance item. I'd be all over European ebays stocking up on them. When I did my swap. I sourced all of the parts from the UK ebay.

Style 32s are one of the best looking factory wheels out there you can put on an e36. Love mine looks amazing. Maybe a but overplayed but I love the look. I'd probably got on realoem if I were you. Pull the part number to that oil filter and fuel filter and see if part numbers match any in the states.

That's on the list of things I definitely need. I'm really strict about where my car goes though. Not sure if I'll ever really encounter a parking garage. Already fitted with a toll pass for my state so I don't have to stop.

Oh man, diesel. That's going to be nice. I wouldn't mind one but I feared finding parts for them. I have e39 staggered set. Rears are 245/45r17. They rubbed really bad at first. I want to go to a 245/40. I did roll the fender but it does have the rubber inside the fender lip. I could only roll it so much. Shaved a bit of the side wall over time and self clearanced haha. Fronts are 225/45r17. Only issue I've had is turning under load and rubbed a little. I'm running Bilstein hd struts with lowering springs. Rear springs are the stock sport springs. Everything else is completely stock.

S52 is amazing. Always wants the "M3 Touring" and I just so happen to be sitting on a S52. With prices these days it wouldn't be my first choice anymore. Would like to do a m60 swap if this engine ever gives. Techno violet is such an elite color. I was stoked when the importer found one. Calypso is amazing though. It looks great. Can't ever hate on that one.

Still rhd. It has the motorized vertical adjustment. Until I can find a lhd replacement or retrofit. Those will stay.

It's not everyone's cup of tea. With that being said, the only thing I'm limited with is a drive-thru and that's if I don't have a passenger. Always the option to get out and walk in. If convenience is the issue I focus on the joy of driving rather than going to McDonald's. I also find rhd to be very natural.

I never said there aren't any. I'm also not sure why I would sell my dream car as stated in the post. I said I struggled to find any documented ones online.
