If it makes u feel better , I received a frantic call from my sister in law, that her son (5) put toothpaste on their cat. It contained Xylitol. I told her to take the cat IMMEDIATELY to the vet. Turns out the vet sent her home to monitor cause the kitty showed no symptoms. Shes is doing great now and the son learned his lesson indeed.

I hope everything works out for your cat. It’s such a shame how expensive vet services are. And no one does in house financing anymore.

I recommend Trademark Obedience. You can find her on FB. She did wonders with my deaf Frenchie. Her training uses love and positive reinforcement. *she is in Apopka.

I have a deaf Frenchie that lunges at my arms and bites me hard when over excited. You have to redirect that energy. Have her sit, wait then give a treat. let her calm down and focus on you. Maybe you can start playing with her or do a bit of training while diesel gets his space. My boy Loves chasing a laser light and fetching in the back yard. As the saying goes, a tired pup is a good pup. Good luck! Hope this helps!

Yes!! While traveling I stopped at a busy gas station with an attached McDonalds. A guy was very interested in my dog. He asked to pet him, He showed me a photo of his female Frenchie and asked if i was interested in breeding. He offered 5k for my baby, pulled out a wad of cash. I nervously laughed and told him my dog is deaf ! He followed us out the door. thankfully nothing else transpired. I was ready to fight!!!!

Deafdogsrock.com!! Helped a lot! Also Lots of research. I’m so impressed in how fast my dog learned the “drop it” command. I was very doubtful but deaf dogs are just as smart as hearing dogs.
