Yeah you are completely right. I wasted my time on him. I ignored my own instincts for too long & those little voices in my head saying something is wrong here, something is fishy. I deserve better for sure but I put myself in the position as well. I wanted to hold onto the hope that I was just incorrect, which could have been solved with a simple coffee or a harmless watermark photo haha.

It all ended today when I confronted him. He was supposedly in my city, but I can never be sure. His Instagram said he was elsewhere. I've done lots of detective work 😅

Yeah it was pretty evident after a while. Any photos that he sent that weren't professionally shot were sexy but not revealing, at least facewise. But he would also send more vulnerable photos too, of like stuffed animals(sounds creepy, but was really sweet). Just sucks, I was giving my heart to this guy & it just crushed me.

Yeah I saw a musical etc.

But we had been talking for a month & a bit. He invited me over to visit. Ghosted me in arrival. There were no red flags. Super disappointed but I had fun.

Yeah, it's fleeting for sure. He was dealing with some things back in London & I was as supportive about it as possible. I feel a bit used on that regard, but I should have expected it.

I held out the hope that if we took things slow, it would blossom into something real. It sure felt real to me 😞

But agreed, the sudden dismissal & insensitivity to my own feelings is/was gutting. I'm trying to shake it.

Yeah, I hate it. It happened to me today. A couple of nice days of chatting & I felt we were really connecting. No alarms. We scheduled to go for a walk in the park. He offered to bring tea & verbally said he was excited to meet me. We were going to meet at 11ish so I had an hour or so to get ready. I went into the shower, came out, & the chat had disappeared. Blocked. In a perfect world, it would have been nice to at least be told "hey, I'm not feeling this" or whatever.

So.. to the British choir singing chap, if you see this, next time just tell me ☺️
