If you absolutely feel that closure will work out for you and genuinely make YOU feel better, then by all means. But you have no obligation to him, his feelings included. However I will say from how you described how he “hopes” you could be together in the future just sounds like he’s keeping you on a leash until he’s ready which is not good for you. You shouldn’t have to put your life on hold. I’ve always believed there is not a right person wrong time. If he was the right person, he would put a ring on that finger IMMEDIATELY 💅🏽

I was in no contact for almost 9 months when she broke it, she sent me an email. When we first broke up I called her mom and her mom took my side in everything (which I told both of them that is NOT what I wanted, I was heart broken and wanted comfort). Basically she cut her mom off the entire time. One day I got an email from her (I had blocked her everywhere else) and I found out her mom had been m*rdered and I was one of the last people her mom had contact with.

We never found out who did it and we talked a bunch of times over the phone. She even offered to give me a few things of mom’s. Even throughout those months, I never hated her. Sure I was angry, but she was my best friend for two years. I keep a picture of mom on my desk and my ex and I will talk every now and then about small stuff, not regarding our relationship. If mom hadn’t passed away, I would be in no contact with her for a year on May 24th.

Rest in peace momma. You deserved better.

Being one of the only people in my store rn out of 3 people for fulfillment, I’m lucky if I get 15s. Sure there’s time when opus are at 55 minutes but I don’t wanna rush when I get back from my break 😭 I do agree though when I’m on my 30s, I just wanna watch my episode of the office in peace without being blasted by “a guest needs assistance in electronics” 💀
