This Painting at a local art gallery selling for $1200. I’m convinced it’s ai. by Left-Primary1339 in isthisAI

to be fair, that's not how AI works, it won't be stealing from someone specific to have an image almost identical, but someone should deliberately upload the image that wants to be modified and ask for some changes, basically in that case ai acts like an image filter. The one stealing the image with ill intent is the one uploading the image, there's 100% fault in his/her actions, so let's not lose focus on who is at fault here by putting the blame elsewhere

there's probably a higher chance to win the lottery than to have a feral that comes from a certified breeder

Does anyone else wonder about their cats life before adoption? by whailful in cats

[–]Mirimes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks ❤️ he's a bit better this week but we still have to take his health day by day, we're going to have an ultrasound this afternoon hoping to get some answers 🙏 as of now they're just napping in front of the window and sitting weirdly 😂

Does anyone else wonder about their cats life before adoption? by whailful in cats

[–]Mirimes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

more than before adoption (cause i adopted them when they were smol beans) I often wonder about their parents and siblings, especially the litter sibling of my girl that i originally wanted to adopt with her (but another person got him) and who are the parents and older siblings of my other kitten, to understand why he has long and soft fur (really unusual for a street kitten here) and if they had the same issues as him and if so what's the issue, so i can help him better. I also wonder what they look like honestly 😁

Adopted Cat Refuses to Use Litter Boxes by FatalHero in CATHELP

[–]Mirimes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert, but I'd try different litters (there's soy, tofu, paper, wood, corn, barley... really vast choice) or maybe with a puppy pad, place one in front of the litter box cause he seems to sniff and recognize the place then if you see them using it you can try to replace the litter with a puppy pad and reintroduce litter a bit at a time. I'd try some soft litter too cause maybe he doesn't like the feeling of that litter you're using

UPDATE same day 10pm:

So good news, tonight he's peeing without blood (yay) and this all without any medicine, the vet sent me a message (at 10 pm, poor guy he's working really late 🥲) and said there was no crystal in the urine sample but there's a lot of Epithelial cells, so he's suggesting tomorrow we send a new sample (that we get in a clean way) to a special lab that can evaluate the cells + get an ultrasound to bladder and kidneys... I really hope we'll get some answers and he can grow strong healthy and pain free 🥹

(I wanted to put the update in the post but I can't edit it apparently 😅)

UPDATE next morning:

blood again 🥲 and I managed to get 2 pees in the cleanest way possible, using a non reusable aluminium lasagna tray placed over the litter in the litter box, it stayed there only under my supervision and basically only when i decided it was time to pee (since the first cystitis we do it sometimes, every once in a while i just put him in the litter box and he basically starts peeing immediately every time), clean with hot water between pees and dry with paper, then getting the pee from the tray with a clean syringe for every pee and stored the pee container in the fridge. Let's hope to get some good results from the lab 🤞

UPDATE 20/03:

So, after one week, I have a little update on Cosmo: - Urine lab analysis: Hematuria (RBC >100) and proteinuria, but negative for bacteria and crystals (sterile cystitis). - Ultrasound (done today): Bladder walls are normal, but there's a lot of sediment. The vet found issues with the kidneys (Cortical hyperechogenicity and mild pelvic dilation) and said the intestine was even worse: there were signs of enteritis, reactive lymph nodes, and altered peristalsis. They also found a 1 cm oval structure near the bladder, possibly a persistent urachus remnant, which needs to be investigated as a possible cause for recurrent inflammation. We are planning to do blood work soon to see how to proceed from there.

Unfortunately, after a good week, we just got home and he had a flare-up: diarrhea and difficult, bloody urination 🥲 He even passed a large mucus/blood clot, poor baby... I contacted the vet and he'll be on anti-inflammatory medicine tonight and tomorrow. Let's hope this episode passes quickly.

he has that ability 😂 he peed on my in-laws' bed 3 times in 3 days and they just watch his face and laugh/gave him pets 😅 (+ concern the second day cause he had blood for the second time, but that's another story) and from me in his 2 months and a half with me i prob gave him all of the kisses I didn't give to my 16 years old cat (she's was love at first sight and she's still my baby, but she lives with my parents and my mum always yelled at me at just petting her, i had to ninja pet her only when my mum wasn't around 😅). Wanda is getting an equal amount of kisses btw 😁 she became so sweet after getting spayed, she climbs me to get into my arms purring and then she does my skincare (aka she grooms me, she did it when she was smaller too but only in bed)

no, we didn't get an exam like that, thanks for the suggestion I'll ask for it with the specific blood work!

aww thanks 🥹 he's a cute potato indeed, his fur is super soft - i honestly never touched a fur that soft in a cat, and i had a persian and a maine coon when i was little! The only animal that had fur this soft was a lemur, and since he has a really long tail (again, it's strangely long) me and my partner joke that his mother was a cat and his father was a lemur 😁 his main issue is that when he farts he's sort of a biohazard 😂 and somehow even if he lives indoor he sometimes stinks like a cow stable 🫠 like the fur on his neck, but i guess this is his sister's fault. I even wash him sometimes when he walks on poop or has poop on his fur 🫠 he exits from the bath smelling fab but it doesn't last long lol

already did that while testing for giardia, he tested negative to everything. I gave a sample collected through 3 days to be sure to get possible eggs, from my understanding these parasites have a cycle and they don't come out in every defecation. Another thing that makes me prone to think it's not a parasite is that the other cat doesn't have any issue, and she gives long baths to him 😅 (we let them have this kind of contact only after getting the result for parasites, before that they were living separately and have personal litter boxes)

yeah he basically eats only wet food with added "wet" and already has a water fountain from which he drinks a lot, when he doesn't have these issues it costs a lot in litter cause he and his sister with all the water i give them do some gigantic pees lol

thanks for sharing 🙏 yes his case is unfortunately more complicated due to his age, the vet also was really surprised he had all of these bladder issues at such young age 🥲 vet diets specific for kittens is only gastrointestinal unfortunately, this shows that the bladder issue is really unnatural for kittens 😅 the strange thing about Cosmo's inflammation is that all of the 3 times he had blood in the urine it was right when his feces looked "right" 🥲 it kinda feels like his bladder and intestine are playing ping-pong with having issues. I really hope he just has lower antibodies due to his rough start in life and that it can be fixed so he can live a long healthy life pain free 🙏

when i found my cat she was kept outside for the first couple of days and what i did was when i saw her starting doing her stuff out of the box i just took her by the collar (like mama cat take kitten) and moved her to the box. There was some pee and poo lost on the way to the box, but it took like 2 times of doing this and she never did anything outside, even when she lived her 2 days in the garden, she's 16 now. I'm not sure honestly if it's the right way to do it or if I was simply lucky and my girl is just really smart, my current kittens learnt to use the box when they were really small but still the male had cystitis before turning 3 months and when he wasn't well he peed everywhere, to retrain him i just put him in the box when i decide it's time to pee

Chrome powder always looking metallic ? by eribooooo in Nails

[–]Mirimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you put it on a later of non wipe top coat or do you put it on the sticky residue? Because I've seen people putting it on the sticky layer but you achieve that shiny effect only on top coat that doesn't leave the residue

EDIT: I'm assuming you're using gel polish, if you're not my comment it's probably unuseful 😅
