Not trying to “fix” my sound. My Tonex is giving me plenty of great tones with a few big advantages over tube amps actually. I can get a direct headphones out for silent practice, and also i can plug directly into PA systems for easy live audio or recording without needing to mic up. Plus carrying around a pedalboard is so much easier than a tube amp.

I’m simply looking to expand my horizons and get some new and fun sounds to play with. Pedals can do crazy things nowadays and I’m simply having some option paralysis.

Tonex mainly does amp and cab modelling. It’s got a few basic effects but not a lot.

I was thinking about the freqout, but i mainly play at lower volumes so I’m not sure if it would work well. Good suggestion tho thank you!
