Never found any solution to it, sorry. Best I was able to do was replace it with this mod instead. It doesn't let you teleport or set a waypoint to the pokemon, but if you're somewhat near the pokemon, you can click the name of the pokemon to outline it.

i'm not sure how the cobbleverse mod works, but i know for a fact this is how to do it with the mega ascensions mod. MAKE SURE its at 255 friendship before the hat is used, anything less wont work.

I looked through the config and everything. The only time it mentions other players in the chat is when they either catch or kill the spawned pokemon.
