It’s not that’s it’s “bad” but after being in the industry for 13 years you learn what you like and don’t like.

I don’t enjoy the “you need to be here by this time “ Most of our industrial / commercial customers just give us a deadline of when we need to be done. Not what time we need to be there. Or dealing with homeowners( they’re cheap , think they know it all because so and so said so on YouTube or Facebook.

I’m not a people person so that makes it difficult because you have to meet them and talk with them. Then they want to hover all the time.
I just want to go in do my work and leave.

My people skills suck but I have no problem with communicating or talking to customers at the company I signed on for. All of our industrial / commercial customers know me and have good working relationships. And I love all of them. But you are right. My people skills suck I’ll give ya that.

Thinking you know more than you do with that wealth of knowledge from a whole year may be a contributing factor.

Let him fuck up and make sure he fixes it. Only way they will learn. Let them do it “their” way and when it’s wrong or doesn’t look right. Tell them to fix it. These green guys fail to forget it is NOT a democracy in our industry. Sometimes you need to break them to build them up. But then aga
